MY INTERVIEW WITH AFI4WINS

 

Well its finally here, my interview with Afi...I think you will agree its a fantastic interview. During his time here he has been a fantastic friend to me and to everyone. Its great to have such a happy and upbeat member here who not only brings experience in the slots but good life experience too. Afi it was an absolute pleasure interviewing you - here is your fifteen minutes of fame my friend!

 

Q1. Afi, can you start by telling us a bit about yourself? And how/when you started gambling?

 

Answer: Hmmm…just a bit? Okay, but I’ll have to skip a lot of bends and winding roads to keep this short, hehehe. Afi is my real name, call me Afi for short. Slots is my game, and I love it a lot! Born in Malaysia many many years ago, went for further studies in London, travelled around Europe, then back home again…my life history in 4 seconds, hehehe. How and when did I started gambling? Oh, geeee!…I’d have to point my finger at Leicester Square! Hahahaha. During my early days upon arriving in London, I came across several amusement arcades in Leicester Square…and that first step I took into one of those arcades changed my whole life forever! I was completely amazed and thrilled by what I saw there. Remember those coin-drop machines, whereby numerous coins would be clumped together, just overhanging the edge of a ledge, waiting to drop down to be won? And players were dropping coins after coins, one at a time, hoping that each coin would push those clumped-up-together coins over the edge! Yeah, I even copycatted Mr Bean’s actions of ‘bumping and bumming the machine accidentally’…but not a single coin dropped down, hahahaha. Next, I came upon 1-armed bandits, those mechanical 3-reelers, had a few tries on those, didn’t get any triple 7s, so I moved on. The next thing I came across were something like ‘Gals With Guns’. No, no guns…just ‘gals with several colored buttons’ on them…and guys were happily and crazily pressing away on those buttons! Wooohooo! Eh, what are those, you’re asking? 5-reels Slot machines! Hahahaha. These were the culprits that got me hooked and took away all my money that day! GRRRRRR!!! Once bitten twice shy? No way! Once bitten twice retry! Heck…a million times retry!!! Hahahaha.

 

Q2. It’s time to go into the hot seat...and I want you to name your favourite software of all time! (You’re only allowed to name 1) and your favourite slot of all time! (Same rules apply!)

 

Answer: Whaaat? Only 1? No polygamy? No variety? No “on-the-side”? Oh, geeeee! You’re certainly a hard one to please, hahahaha. My top favourite software is none other than Playtech, but my all-time top favourite slot game? OMG…that’s like asking me whom I like more…Luciana or Cocopop or Katemak or anybody else…I like them ALL!!! Hehehe. Okay, okay…that 1 game would have to be…Mr CuteFairyDolphin! *roll eyes*. Whaaat? Not acceptable? Oh, geeee! No four-in-one answer huh? Then it has to be Dolphin Reef, my current all-time top favourite slot game.

 

Q3. Do you only play at online casinos?

 

Answer: Dang! If they have slot machines in public toilets, I’d probably be playing in there too! Hahahaha. I’ve played at land casinos, I’ve played at airline casinos but never at sea casinos. Airline casinos as at airports or on planes? Nope. Airline casinos as at home…on air… online…whatever one calls them! Hehehe.

 

Q4. We all know you have a love of Playtech and their tournaments...would you mind telling us a bit about these tournaments and why you like them so much?

 

Answer: Telling ‘a bit’ would mean “Yes-No-Yes-Yes”. Yes, I love Playtech tournaments. No, not all Playtech tournaments. Yes, I don’t mind telling you about it. Yes, and why I like them so much. Hehehe. There is only 1 tournament that I love so much, which I try not ever to miss out on, and this is the regular monthly tournament at Omni Casino. Each month it has its own unique tournament name. Last month (February 2014), it was ‘$13,500 Love & Money III Slots Tournament’. This month, it is ‘$14,000 Irish Luck Slots Tournament’. The prize money increases by $500 each month, so by November, the total prize money would have increased to $18,800! No slots tournament in December though - those poor hardworking casino guys and gals need a Christmas break too! Hehehe. Playing the tournament is so easy and without hassles. Play ANY 15-50 paylines slot game with real money - Progressive Jackpot games are not allowed but Marvel Jackpot games are allowed! Every spin of $0.45 or higher bet gets counted. Accumulate as many spins as possible from the start of the tournament (on the 15th) till the end of the tournament (month’s end), and the player with the most spins wins the first prize ($1200 for this month). There are numerous winning positions (up to 60th spot) with 3 categories of bet ranges, namely $0.45 - $1.49 bet range, $1.50 - $3.99 bet range and $4.00+ bet range. The higher the bet range, the higher the prize money! On top of these cash prizes, there are also other prizes that can be won automatically, like landing at special positions on the Leaderboard ($50 cash each), extra additional prizes that may be included into the tournament, plus a fantastic regular ‘Hot Seat Promotion’ cash prizes, ranging from $15 to $500 every month. All prizes are WAGER-FREE! Woohooo!!! In the tournaments that I have entered so far, I have won at least 2 cash prizes every month, with a maximum of 5 combined prizes in one particular month! No other tournament anywhere else comes near to Omni’s! This is simply THE BEST tournament available…because everyone has a good chance of winning at least 1 prize per tournament. No limits to how many prizes a player can win! But a word of advice though…when playing in this tournament, always play smartly and play with a firm planned-out strategy, without which, nothing could be won…and of course…always with the help of Lady Luck!

 

Q5. If it was announced that every single casino were to close its doors tomorrow and all you have left is today...how would you spend your last ever gambling hours?

 

Answer: OMG…is it Doomsday already???!!! Geeees! If all casinos were to close down tomorrow, might as well bring down the sky with it too!!! That would be easier for me to accept! Hehehe. In such a situation, no matter what you do today, it would all come down to NOTHING the next day! So, what would I do? I’d just carry on playing online as usual, until tomorrow comes. Then when all casinos have closed down, I’ll play in the FUN mode! Hahahaha.

 

Q6. If you could invite 4 famous people (past or present) to a dinner date who would they be?

 

Answer: Dang! This would be THE question of my lifetime! There are many past famous people that I admired or adored...Princess Diana would be one…but I certainly wouldn’t want to date GHOULS! Hahahaha! Present celebrities? Any 4 gorgeous chicks would do very nicely, thank you! Hehehe.

 

Q7. Do you have any nicknames? If so what are they and how did you get them?

 

Answer: Oh, geees! Did a small bird whispered that to you? Dang! Yes, I do have one, just one! Back at the turn of the new Millennium, I was spending a lot of my online time in one MSN forum. You’d NEVER GUESS what forum that would be! Nah!...nope!...no! It was…Women’s Channel! Whoooa!…someone just fell out of a chair back there, laughing…hahahaha. Crazy huh! Hehehe. In a nutshell…unless you want to write pages on it…*wink*wink*…I was reading up on all kinds of women’s emotional, relationship, marital, and even I-don’t-know-what-to-do problems! And I always had the answers for them! Over time, my advices and solutions became accepted by a lot of the women members, including the Women’s Channel Moderators, and so they gave me a nickname. Wanna guess what it was? Dr Love! Hehehe. That lasted for a couple of years before I had to make myself ‘disappear’. Hehehe.

 

Q8. If someone wrote a biography of you...what would it be titled and why?

 

Answer: I would love the book to be simply titled ‘afi – adorable funloving intuitive’. That would describe me best…and everyone else could be ‘a.f.i’ too! Hehehe.

 

Q9. Describe yourself in 3 words.

 

Answer: Oh, geees! In 3 words? How about in 3 pages? Hahahaha. Well, adorable-funloving-intuitive would do just fine. Alternatively, you can describe me as an ‘ever-happy forever-young slots-nut! Call me a slots-nut and I won’t talk to you again! Hahahaha.

 

Q10. Describe your time here so far at AskGamblers!

 

Answer: Hmmm…should I do that in 3 words or in 3 pages? Hehehe. But as your current interview style goes, I’ll answer that in 3 words…fantastic…loving-it…couldn’t-do-without-it! Now don’t tell me that’s not 3 words! Hahahaha.
