    Nobody is getting close...but I'd like to wait and see what Sophie and Jay has to say.  ^_^

    In the very beginning there was only GOD. Nothing was before him...no universe, no sun, no Earth. So, what came next after GOD???

     

    Nothing was before GOD right? So that sentence became:

    GOD. Nothing was before him...no universe, no sun, no Earth. So, what came next after GOD???

    GOD. Nothing

    So the answer, all my friends...is Nothing!  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

     

    Well done Seat!  :good: I'm not sure whether you actually solve the riddle...or it was just a lucky guess!  :D

    But I want everyone to know how and why 'nothing' is the answer.  ^_^

    The person to whom the question is asked, is in a certain 'state'.

    So, for your convenience all clues in an overview

    1) it is a literal question

    2) not gender related

    3) the person cannot anwer the question with yes  (Extra clue: in fact the person won't be able to answer anything !!)

    4) the person is in a certain 'state '
