Cashout feature in Sports betting

After realizing that you are about to lose a bet during halfway mark of a game did you ever wish there was a way to minimize your losses? Well then the cashout feature at casinos is just for you. When you place a bet on sports events certain casinos allow you to apply a feature called 'Cashout' where the casino offers you a certain value of your initial bet before the event ends. There are many scenarios where you can take advantage of this feature, let’s look at a few of them.

Beginning of an event- Sometimes we get excited before a game begins and place bets on a certain team or a player and later on realize that it was a bad pick. Some casinos allow you to use a cashout feature where you are given a certain percentage of your original bet back and this is usually more than 50% of your bet. 

Half way mark cashout feature- We always figure out which way the game is heading during half time break as we have seen the performance of the team or a certain player. In these cases the cashout feature lets you withdraw at least 25% to 30% of your initial bet. In my opinion taking this amount is better than losing all your funds.

Underdogs performing good- We all are loyal towards our Home/National teams even if they are weak and in some cases we bet in their favor. Fortunately sometimes even a weak team starts strong and our pick ends up getting an edge. During this time odds in the favor of the weaker team gets better. But we all know that strong teams are capable of making a comeback and this is where the cashout feature comes in handy and its one of the rare cases where ending your bet prematurely can get you a profit. I like to use the cashout feature in football games when a lower ranked team plays against a high ranking team. If the underdog team scores a goal or manages a clean sheet, the odds in their favor get better and the cashout feature ends up giving a profit.

I have used the cashout feature alot. However even before a match starts you tend to lose average 20% of your stake for early cashout. I can imagine it being more during the actual match

This feature is best during the first quarter of any game especially with weaker teams as most of the times they start good but then they gas out.

I have never used this feature but am aware of it. Not sure if I would ever use it unless a lot of money was at stake maybe?
