Withdrawal via Bank Transfer

Recommended Posts

I'm having difficulty making a withdrawal via bank transfer. I'm being told that I haven't been putting in the correct account details when making a withdrawal. I used the first 6 digits of my bank account for the 'clearing code' and the remainder of my account number is used in the account part. Everything is what it's supposed to be, I haven't entered any wrong info, but yet every time I put a withdrawal request in, it comes back as declined because I haven't entered the correct details...but I have !!! Please help. I'm from New Zealand and I bank with Kiwibank.

Many thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum. Can you take a screenshot of the cashier page so we can see what details need entering please? Please don;t include your details.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. Here's a screenshot of the withdrawal section..Screenshot_2024-08-14-21-32-22-28_40deb401b9ffe8e1df2f1cc5ba480b12.thumb.jpg.7ca4071b418d572c2a2ccf493e448440.jpg

Are you sure that you only use the remainder of the account number minus the clearing number? That sounds a bit odd? Has the casino not said why it keeps declining? It may be worth asking.

Hi cocopop3011

This is the reason I got just hours ago ...

I understand your frustration,
but as you know your money was approved by our side,
then it returned to your casino account since the provider cannot proceed
due to the information provided being incorrect.
Our financial department recommends you double-check all entered data on the withdrawal request and make sure it is entered fully and correctly.
Please, could you check with your bank which number should be filled out?

I am filling out the withdrawal request exactly how they have said it needs to be done. First 6 digits for the clearing, remaining digits in the account section. Am I meant to put extra 0's at the end of the account number or something. Never have I ever encountered this kind of difficulty when making a withdrawal from other casinos.

I've not come across a request for a clearing code before, you should ask your bank. For me generally they request a swift code(different thing).

I would also suggest asking chat support on the gambling site if they will let you deposit a second time via skrill/neteller etc and then withdaw the entire amount out that way  as its easier than dealing with sites that dont support nz players or have much experience with that.

Are you sure you are meant to take the clearing code from the account number? Is the account number not made up with the clearing code, but you can also use the clearing code as a code on its own? That's what I would assume you are doing wrong here.
