No I didn't send because it held no relevance to the case. I will wait to file the complaint until tomorrow just to see what they say about this new communication.

yeah, well that's a explanation I would love to read as well...keep us posted

Just before I do this - they actually just emailed me. Is this even legal to request such a thing? I cannot find a place, either at my bank statement or crypto exchange statement that shows such a thing. Is this just another delay tactic?

I don’t even get what they’re asking to see. What exactly do they want?

Exactly. I think that is their modus operandi here. They are trying to make it vague and difficult to provide info so that i just drop it or delay things.

I think what they are asking for is a crypto and bank statement showing who deposited money where and the IBANs associated.

I am not sure why they are asking for those things, however, because it is not related to any dealings I've had with them.

I think it's time you write them a nice email with the actions you will take, file complaint here and get ready to file complaints everywhere else.

Put some real pressure on that lid.

Although I gotta warn you...they are restricted almost everywhere so this won't be easy

I have some news for you.

I managed to retrieve the T&C's from around the period you registered:

There were some country restrictions mentioned but no UK.

AG page at that time did look a bit diff to but if you go to this page you'll know if you were really restricted.

If colourfull ,they did mention no UK players, but didn't obfuscate, blur out the buttons to continue for Brtitish residents

I'll add this : https://eadr.org/eadr-form/

You can use the European Alternative Dispute Resolution.

EADR strives for reliable, fair and just, out-of-court settlements. These processes enable both parties to resolve their disputes without the need for litigation by experienced professionals, and in a timely manner.

USE THIS TO INQUIRE about your situation and if they can help gladly.

SECONDLY: you can file a complaint with the UKGC as well.

They will hepl you because Chipstars was knowingly, letting British gamblers register without having a seal.

The laws, changes made at the beginning of this year,  are made to come to this conclusion, that the UKGC will prioritize evidence-based changes to effectively regulate gambling, focusing on safety, fairness, and preventing criminal activities. The continuous collaboration and progress in implementing White Paper recommendations require input from all relevant stakeholders impacted by the UK gambling sector, striking a balance between consumer protection and industry sustainability.

Data collection was one of the points which caused confusion and as it was already being abused.

The UK’s gambling sector is the world’s largest licensed online marketplace, generating over £10 billion in yield (excluding lotteries). It offers high channelization and consumer choice, characterized by innovation and intense competition among licensed operators. The ongoing generational review should provide much-needed updates, ensuring regulations remain committed to preventing crime, ensuring fairness, and protecting vulnerable consumers.

Miller delved into the first contentious issue of “financial risk assessments” proposed in the White Paper. He clarified that the UKGC planned to implement frictionless financial risk assessments, primarily through credit reference agencies, without impacting consumer credit scores. Miller added that most checks would be “light-touch,” utilizing public data to assess approximately 20% of accounts.

Tim Miller, the executive director of the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC)

In short, they have no authority to ask for notarized ID's and certainly no bank or wallet ''inside information'...for one, because the terms of any bank account or wallet state 'DO NOT SHARE ACCOUNT INFORMATION'

The links between wallet, your account, and bank account are all verifiable through trust verification.

If they can't get that trust information, it is that they themself are not trusted....in which case you should defenitly file complaints

I'm afraid this is where you are wrong. AG has had this casino restricted for UK players since the day the review was published because they do not hold a UKGC Licence.

Which I don't negate...the list of restricted countries is visible.

But I'm from Belgium...obviousely I can tick 'Visit Casino'...the question is...is (was better) this clickable by British residents.

But out of all the material I gathered you only focus on that element, that's so....🫤

It’s not clickable to UK residents. The rest of your text I read, and was applicable to OP so I didn’t need to comment on the rest.

I have already informed the team that this casino is accepting UK players, that’s as far as I can because then it’s taken out of my hands.

Morning,

I've been away hiking for almost a week so haven't been able to follow up much over here, however, I have been emailing Chipstars and they are not even replying to me again. It's been 8 days since any reply.

They have now replied, just asking the exact same thing they asked a couple of weeks ago. I have now sent them months worth of bank statements, once again. Perhaps, as if by magic, they will approve of that. My crypto account was funded by winnings from another site, which I've shown them. This is all just obviously another delay tactic. Anyway, here's what they wrote:

Quote

Dear Ben,

The risk team has checked your screenshot and is informing you that the information from the screenshot is not relevant enough.
We need to see all the data and names on how your crypto account was funded and all the statements about where the funds to your bank account have been coming from.
Without that information, it is not possible to conclude the case. Please be so kind and provide us with these.

Kind regards!

Sincerely,
Ana Taylor

Btw I have offered multiple times to Skype with them so they can finally get this nightmare over with. I have never had even a response about it.

Imo you should give Chipstars a completely different review. They are nothing but scammers.

Do you or somebody of your familyy members know a lawyer?

I just wanna make sure but demanding this much information is an attack on your right to privacy....this is no longer a question about KYC and Anti-Fraud money laundering but clearly malicious intent.

Lawyers know the precise boundaries but if you could get an affirmation, maybe just a lawyer who provides minimum support through answering yes or no to questions posted online, you'll have more weight in the balace into firmly demanding to payout before taking steps one, two, three and sofort via legal channels...which are free for Europeans and with a precedent in their possession they'll know what to do. There has to be a precedent to such invasive idiocracy!

Our reviews are not based on players experience otherwise we’d have a million different official reviews. Our reviews are factual based on the services they provide. You are welcome to write your own review.

I think what is happening is that they are going to try and claim I am money laundering simply because I won.

I have no idea what reason they will come up with for that because all I did was one deposit via crypto, just like every other customer who uses their platform. That is it. How that could ever end up in a money laundering accusation I have no idea but we'll see what garbage they can come up with.

The issue is they know they’re not meant to be accepting UK players because they don’t have a licence and probably their Curacao license says they shouldn’t be accepting UK players. I’m confident that it all boils down to this and this only.

But surely if they pay me then all this goes away and nothing happens to them. They are causing a stir and will get found out going this route.

Also, it's not like they're trying to hide they accept UK players. Here is one of their most recent emails to me.

I don't know the exact legalities for casinos without a UKGC license accepting UK players, I just know that we don't offer these casinos to UK players, and as a player myself I would not play in one.

If you have sent them the source of where your crypto funds have come from then see what they come back with.
Did you say you had submitted the complaint with us?

I've submitted the complaint but it's yet to be approved.

While I have showed them how I funded my crypto wallet, which they did not accept, i do not understand even slightly why it's relevant to them. Every player who plays on their site has to deposit with crpyto. Do you think they check all of this ***** every time? Absolutely not. It's got nothing to do with anything. Btw, it's about the 5th reason they've come up with not to pay out, so far. It's just something new every time. Clearly just delaying hoping that I give up.

I believe this a primo example of a casino runnin' on fumes...the complaints keep growing left and right if you google them correctly.

I bet they won't exist anymore by the end of this year...so what we're seeing is grabbing as much as possible before being accused internationally of illegal and prolly even offering pirated software. I hope you changed all your passwords again after having offered your identity on a golden plate now.
