"I am unable to withdraw my funds from Monro Casino because they claim I need to provide a cellphone number, which I do not have as I only use a landline. Despite speaking with them via audio, they continuously refuse to manually verify my phone number. I have already submitted a complaint against this casino, as I find this reason to be both discriminatory and nonsensical. It seems like an excuse to withhold my winnings and pressure me into playing them instead. Monro casino belongs to Galaktika nv group and i have been playing with these guys for over 7 years. They are a very good brand and process cashout pretty fast provided you are verified and mobile verification is part of that. Honestly I am surprised that in today's day and age you do not have a mobile phone but thats your personal choice. The casino cannot force you to use one.

One thing about your case i dont understand is how did you manage to play at the casino without entering you phone number which is part of your profile. As far as I know the casino doesn't allow you to play until you fill up your profile.

The interesting thing is they were about to call me and mannually verify my landline, then out of the blue said we cannot allow you to withdrawal because you must have a mobile number.   

I have explained them that my identity was stolen in the past and was via a cellphone text message, so i decided to not use that technology anymore.

The thing is while verifying your mobile they send you an sms code and the moment you enter your code its done. They dont ask you for your documents. I suggest take any phone number of your friend/family verify it and then remove number from your profile. Its about CAD900 so go through this mess. But final decision is yours.

they said the phone must be registered in my name

Flash News: I contacted them again today, and they were able to manually verify my phone number via a phone call. I have requested the withdrawal and also asked for a transcript of the chat as a reference for my review here.

As soon as I receive my funds, I will notify AskGamblers to disregard my complaint, but I won’t do so until I have my funds.
