Day 9:

a few roulette, blackjack and baccarat stories

all these happened at a land based casino many years ago.

in no particular order during different visits.

was playing blackjack and next to it was a roulette table with a lot of commotion because number 10 kept showing up often, sometimes back to back sometimes not but it was 10 this and then another number then 10 again... thought about putting something on it but I was at my table and stayed... thinking back on it I should have put a 100 on it and won more doing that than staying at blackjack table.

was at a land based casino and once again there was a lot of activity going on at a roulette table cause the same numbers kept showing up this time I did put some $25 chips on around the area where those numbers were showing up not straight up but on corners (4 numbers that are touching each other), anyway ended up winning about $300 from that and off I went.

another time at a land based was playing roulette and then I grabbed 4 of my $25 chips and I jokingly said out loud that I will put $100 on zero and I motioned that I am going to do that but I pulled back the chips and didn't place it! but what do you know the ball landed on zero after the dealer had spun the wheel... sigh, still think about that time about what could have been.

this was also at a land based but involved baccarat anyways I was standing behind all these folks that were playing baccarat and then I had a strong sense of knowing that the next result would definitely be for the Player... I could have put all my chips onto player (had plenty of chips in my pockets), but I just stood there and then of course the result was Player....

another time at a land based was standing and watching the roulette table and noticed that zero had not shown up on any of the tables in a long while.... cause you can see the displays next to each table and there were at least4 tables or so and well what do you know the very next spin the zero showed up at the very table that I was standing to. I spoke to the guy that did put money on the zero tho although he did cover other numbers too did say that I noticed there hadn't been zero for ages.

was playing blackjack at land based and also placing the perfect pair side bet, but one round I forgot to put my $5 perfect pair bet and the result was a perfect pair, another player that was also playing on the same box did get the win for it so the next hand I doubled my usual perfect pair side bet to $10 and it came as a perfect pair. I think it paid 30-1 for perfect pair.

there was one time at land based, when the ball landed on the number 21, 4 times in a row, nobody had anything on it!... when it came twice 21 , people said no way it happens 3 times, and then when it was 3 times, then people said no way it happens 4 times.... only 3 people at the table tho.

This is a true story, my own, that happened over 20 years ago.

I was playing on my slot machine at one of my usual gaming arcades one night and there were a few others playing there too. Suddenly there was a commotion inside the arcade...a loud voice was heard asking to open the door. When I turned around to see what was going on, I saw 4 men armed with 'parang's...1 was banging on the cashier's door with his parang, another one was by his side, and 2 were right behind us players.

"Don't turn around! Go back to playing!" he was telling us, so we turned back to our machines and continued playing. They were not wearing any masks, so they don't want us players to see their faces. I only caught a quick glimpse of them, but I know they were not locals.

They robbed the place, took all the cash from the cashier, but thankfully, they did not even rob us players! Within a few minutes, they got their money from the cashier and quickly left the place, as quietly as they had entered. Luckily, no one was harmed by them. The male cashier was not harmed either.

Oh maaan, had those men been the brutal and cruel kind, we players would have been robbed and probably been hurt too!

That was my first and one time only being involved in an actual on-going robbery!

started with video poker and slots then came table games mostly blackjack, some roulette and some caribbean stud poker.

land based mostly table games, but online mostly slots. This year hardly any table games played mostly online casino slots.

most importantly you need to have self control, discipline , set limits...
