Quit gaming?

I really how incredibly hard it is for me to control gaming. Lost my whole savings account just to be lucky to hit a max win on last deposit to have it restored.

Is this a sign for me to stop? Did a week ban on myself

Any one else has a hard time quitting?

If you had lost all and now won it back the first thing you need to now is that you are extremely lucky in this gambling world. If i ever win back my losses i would never gamble again.

Since you have already applied a week ban I would ask you to go for gamban or gamstop of maximum duration. You also need to know tgat every once in a while you will have an urge to gamble so its better off you pick up a hobby and focus on that. Best of luck.

In my life, there are 3 things that can never cease...my CCS...coffee, cigarettes and slots...my way of life the way it has been and will always be!

Why I can do this is purely due to SELF-CONTROL...only doing them in moderation if you like, never exceeding my preset limits.

Can I stop any one of these 3 things? Right now, I don't have any really strong reasons to stop it, but if you're addicted, you cannot follow this way and must find a way to stop it!

Honestly, I think you are already way beyond that and IMHO (and as our beloved @Afi4winssuggested above), you must act immediately to put your gambling back into control.

Honestly speaking, NONE! But if forced to choose, it would be my S choice first. I can't live without my C&C. Incidentally, that goes for my C&C Red Alert too, hahaha.

Hi and thank you for opening up to us, I honestly believe this is the first step.

I'll answer honestly of course - yes there are huge red flags here and you need to pay attention to them.

The fact that you not just lost your savings, but you were not in enough control to stop yourself from spending them is a sign that you have crossed that line of self-control, unfortunately.

Years ago, I got to a point where I was spending every penny I had, not just me, but my partner too. It all went on gambling. I had to find the self-control to take a break. I did! I was able to return to full control and now I have the strength to make sure it never happens again. However, we are all different, and sometimes it's a matter of stopping, and stopping for good!

I agree with all the advice you have already been given above, please take this advice, and take it fast. The road you're about to go down if you don't is not going to be a very nice one. But know, no matter what, you can always reach out for help - if you need assistance finding out where you can get additional help please let me know.

Yeah, it's been a really destructive time which I really could have gone without. Before I had super control, but I tilted and lost it.

But some part of me says my gaming problems is easily fixed, I just don't play and save the money instead. I know I can do it. The big reason for me was since corona hit I needed some more money and tried casino luck, if I had been rich already it would have been super boring to gamble in my eyes.

So, what are your next steps from here?

  • 2 weeks later...

gambling is like any other addiction, your system getting hooked on the chemical reaction in the brain coming from these few but oh so sweet times you hit the jackpot, seriously if its a problem for you you should consider staying away for a longer time, and if you ever decide to go back just be aware that in just an instant youll be back where you left it.
