Ok...so the next bit if news I have...this I think only applies for the UK...but may go out to other countries later

 

But they are trying to get ALL gambling adverts on the TV banned due to the content being inappropriate for children!!

 

I think this is such a controversial thing to be in the news and I'm sure the country is going to be split in half on it. For all the people who don't gamble they will agree and for those who don't I expect won't agree. I personally think they are going over the top on it all! My daughter is 9 and she loves watching me play Bingo or Slots online and sometimes she will see an advert on tele and come and say "mam have u signed up to them!" And it's perfectly innocent. The advert doesn't for one second make her think oh yes I want to gamble when I grow up!

 

If they are going to ban gambling adverts then they should ban alcohol adverts, smoking adverts, it's the same picture that they could portray surely!

There is only one word suitable enough to explain such kind of government sh*ts and it is the word HYPOCRISY! Have so much to say about this topic, most of it containing loads of a profanity that frankly speaking, prefer to shut my big mouth as I'm afraid the more delicate part of our members would pass out.

British Finance Minister includes bingo tax cut in Budget

LONDON, England -- The British Chancellor unveiled his government's new budget which included good news for bingo halls, The Guardian reported. Bingo tax will be halved to 10 percent, bringing it into line with tax on sports betting and casinos, the report said. The tax reduction comes as salve to an industry struggling to keep the doors open and reeling economically from the smoking ban.
