What is an acceptable timeframe to complete wagering requirements?

Recommended Posts

Hey y'all

So, after reading all of your reviews now for three months, I've noticed how different we all are in regards to how much time we need to complete wagering requirements, so thought it was a great idea for a new topic!

When you accept a bonus - how much time (ideally) do you need to complete wagering?

I'll go first -

Rewind 8 years ago and I would have been happy with 24-72 hours simply because of the speed I'd work through each bonus and was making multiple depsits a day. Very little comittments elsewhere at the time meant I was pretty much playing 24/7.

Nowdays, time is like gold dust and I'm the complete opposite. So, when I deposited at SlotsMillion last month I had 7 days to complete the welcome bonus wagering. This was enough time for me but anything else would have put pressure on me to play quicker - but ideally I would like around 14 days.

I had 20 free spins increments - wagering had to be completed within 24 hours, complete waste of time for me of course because I hadn't completed the initial welcome bonus wagering!

You forgot to mention your bet size. Wager duration is directly proportional  to bet size.

A player  like me who does 10 cent to maximum 40 cent bet per spins I manage to clear 1500 to 2000 in wagers and it takes me around 9 to 10 hours of gameplay usually  autospins. So I can finish a normal 4000 wager in 2 and a half days.

Pretty much the same bet sizes. Minimum, never usually more than 60p unless my balance reaches like £150-£200

My gaming sessions are usually one hour max - day, and that’s a long session 😭

You guys have no autospins at all?

Yes we do 🎉 Don’t think we have it on MG mobile, but don’t know if that’s just UK or everywhere.

I do use auto spin but not all the time, I like to see what I play. Was always a big fan of auto play years ago, probably 70% of my time was using that. But now not so much.

If I would watch my gameplay I would go mental. I put my slot session on autospin and check after 10 minutes. BTG, PlaynGo, Relax gaming, Elk, Thunderkick and almost all NETENT finish 100 spins around 8-13 minutes. If they dont finish spins around 10 minutes I stop the auto and start from 100 again.

if you played bingo would you just prebuy tickets and check results later at end of day of all the games or would you go mental watching each game and flashing 1 to gos near misses...? there would be less stress of course not having to watch all the near hits.. and same goes with slots, theres alot of near miss hits and double scatter teases...

Not so long ago, bonus wagering period was a nice long 30 days. Then that got halved and became 14 days. Nowadays it's been halved yet again and is 7 days in most cases.

For players who are constantly 'on the move', they have very little 'free time' to spend playing on games, as in our Cocopop case, so such players would prefer the 30 days period. For seat-warmer players, they could sit for hours on end to play their games, so a bonus wagering time limit is not that important to them. They would most probably end their game on the same day itself, won or lost. Then there are casual players who would prefer to get a long playing time instead, not ever rushing with their bets and play, and these players would also prefer at least the 14 days period.

Each type of player certainly needs a different time frame, but casinos are not allowing it...they prefer quick play and quick finish, for quick revenues. So, if the allowed wagering time limit is not suitable, then it's best not to play at that casino at all...look for another venue to play that would allow more playing time.

Personally, whether I have to complete my bonus wagering within 3 days, 5 days, or even 7days, it is of no importance to me, because I usually finished my play within a few hours, or by the next day.

Yes exactly Afi, back in the good old days I never used to even check the time restrictions because I knew I'd only have that bonus in my account a few hours 🤣

7 days will suit me now, I mean more is great but 7 is fine. Any less and I will be declining the bonus!
