A 55% and 60% increase in licensing fees??? 😵

OMG!!! That is...that is simply...(fill in your own words)!!!

Long live Curacao Casinos😆

Yep!! Exactly my thoughts! I mean, that's a significant leap isn't it and I'm wondering if the UK is about to see a decline in casinos again next year! I remember how so many casinos pulled out when the new UKGC license came out! I guess we will see..

indred Group Acquires All Outstanding Shares in Relax Gaming in a Move That Will Strengthen Their Offering

Sharing this one as I'm sure we have some Relax fans don't we?

Why are Casinos acquiring slot providers? This is not good for players.

Has there been anything that has occurred so far in this iGaming industry that has been good for players/gamblers?

NOPE! Everything that has been done so far only makes things more worse for us players/gamblers!

Look at how slot games have changed over the last few years. Look at how AI has changed how slot games behaves and pay out winnings to players. Look at how rock-bottom win values have come down to, despite all the hype about winning 10,000x, 20,000x, 50,000x your bet. Players have been spoon-fed with wrong information all this while, making them believe in things that are literally impossible to happen, and all because they WANT AND NEED FOR MONEY FOR THEMSELVES!!!

If you think the madness is over its certainly not. Netent is coming with Starburst extreme and it boasts of paying 200,000 X. You read that right TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND your bet size. This will trigger Nolimit City and they will come with a 300,000x game.

Talking about misinformation there is a game by Pragmatic called Peking luck that boasts of 180,000x for us but since Germany regulated their market the same game in Germany is being advertised as 3500x max win. Look at the difference.

To be fair, Kindred always had a 30% ownership of Relax up to the full acquisition, so I would think they were always influencing the direction of Relax to some degree. Or at least working together closely.

I don't think it is all that unusual for casinos to outright own a provider or own a significant stake in a provider. In my experience this is usually done so that the casino can leverage the good reputation of the provider by having all the games exclusively well before their competition.  So, as it concerns the games aspect of Relax's business, content differentiation is probably a big part of it. Consider how many casinos are out there with the exact same games and game providers and all get the new games on the same day. Aside from bonuses, which are getting rarer depending on where you live, there's not much basis on which to compete. Now consider Relax makes Money Train 3 or some other big sequel and Kindred keeps it for their casinos for a month before any other casino gets it. I think that would be a huge win for Kindred.

Starburst Extreme? A 200,000x max win? On what...10 lines? Nah, it'll definitely be another stupid megaways game!

Pragmatic Play is one more big liar! I have gotten 3 times of the max 38 free spins with 18x multiplier, yet none of the 3 games paid even a 100x win! It's all a HUGE LIE!!!

Game providers can come up with a 1,000,000 ways to win game, or a 500,000x max win game...I won't be buying any of those bullsheeting! There are millions of easy suckers out there who would so easily fall for such 'incredibly huge win' trickeries, without realising that all the extra monies would actually be going into the providers bank account!

Actually they've reduced it to 9 lines without both ways pays. 🙂

To be honest, I think the max win in this game will happen. There's a bonus buy that costs 100x iirc, and I'm sure it will get heavy use. A streamer will probably hit it and then all the marketing will say they won 200,000x, when really it is 2000x.

sounds odd. At peking luck i had a bigger win than 3500x In my honest opinion, peking luck got more potential than any other slot by pragmatic play such as other games with 200.000x win max cap

Cashless payments? I assume they're jsut referring to debit and credit cards are they?

I do agree though, it is a lot easier to spend money when not paying by cash and very easy to lose track on how much you're spending; Anyone agree?

Cashless Payments Might Lead to Overspending, UKGC Survey Warns

Credit cards got me into huge financial problems 3 decades ago! I was spending money way too easily and way too carelessly, and in the end, all my cards got cancelled by the banks, with huge debts unpaid. But of course, the economic crisis back then was the main factor to my problems, and it took me more than 10 years just to recover and get back to normalcy.

Since then, I have not used any credit cards at all! I use only my one and only debit card and cash for all expenses. My life has been easier ever since, with no credit card debts to worry about, and I have learnt to use my money wisely and in the best ways possible.

There's no way I would ever use back credit cards. The apparent conveniences of using them are actually more of a burden with high risks. I am doing absolutely fine without them, and my debit card and cash is all I need to survive through all my daily expenses.

I assume by cashless they mean all online transactions. But I dont see the point here. Everybody today has credit card/ debit card. Even if you lose cash money at land based casino you can still go to ATM and withdraw cash.  There might be  daily limit on withdrawing cash but still you can raise it or even go to bank and withdraw. How is it different?

About 2 years ago I read somewhere that there are loan agents in UK that loan you money specifically for gambling. You can mortgage your property to these people and get money. Something a bank wouldnt allow. These people are also allowed to advertise this on giant advertising boards. How on earth something like this is allowed. What about this?
