When to stop Gambling on a Online Casino Site ? (Experts Please Give Novice Advice)

Ok So I Started this topic hoping to gain some advice / wisdom from some AskGamblers Expert Online Gamblers.

I am from New Zealand & i have only been Gambling 14 months,I have verified accounts with King Billy,Jackpot City,Twin Casino,Voodoo Dreams,Bet365,Dunder,Ruby Fortune,Sky City & RIVERBELLE

Over the last 14 months I have had a decent win on all of the sites that i have joined/registered with and play on except one > RIVERBELLE casino <  the reason i made this topic is because i have deposited and gambled nearly 7k on this site and have not won/withdrawn anything at all and i don't know if this is unusual or common as i have deposited nowhere near this much on any of the other sites and have won and withdrawn decent wins on all of those sites once or twice in the last 14 months but NOTHING on RIVERBELLE.

I am starting to feel like i am being ripped off / rinsed by Riverbelle am i overthinking this ? I keep playing on the site thinking surely my lucks got to improve but every time it is the same result N0 wins over $200 even

When would a expert / experienced gambler say enoughs enough and deactivate there account ?

Sorry if this seems like a silly topic but i if i don't ask i don't learn i guess

Thank you to everyone who answers

If it was me personally, I would have given up a long time ago! Especially since you have a decent list of others casinos that you're already winning at! It seems a bit like your depositing now just becasuse you need that first win but considering how much you've already deposited it's probabbly not going to be financially beneficial for you anyway!

Riverbelle and Ruby Fortune are 2 casinos that I have played many years ago and have since closed my accounts there, just some months after opening them. Why? Compared to other Microgaming casinos, I found those 2 to be rather bad for me...yep...no wins or withdrawals either! Some other Microgaming casinos survived for much longer periods, but eventually all my accounts there got closed off too.

Honestly speaking, I liked playing at Microgaming casinos because of its downloadable software, fast speed of play, fast loading of games, and easy selection of what games to play from its ready lists. However, winning at these casinos seem to be a different matter when compared to other multi-platform casinos!

I no longer play at any Microgaming dedicated casino, have been playing at a very few selective casinos for the past few years (King Billy was one of them), but have even stopped depositing/playing for several months now...am on the brink of quitting altogether. All slots have become great eaters nowadays, eating cash fast and furious, yet giving back only very small portions at any one time...totally unlike years ago.

If you can stop playing at casinos, that would be the best move to make now! 😉

Hi there @Ezalb_Acf and welcome to the AskGamblers Forum.

What you have described in your post is matching pretty well a common scenario with gamblers called 'chasing losses'. The more you lose the more you deposit, upping your bets, hoping for a quick big hit that would give you back all/most of your losses so far. That's a spiral where once you get in it's really hard to find the right way out and by the time you did that, it may have caused severe damage to your gambling budget. How to cope with that? It's simple actually - set a gambling budget for the particular casino, or per brand , or per specific period of time (day. week, month) and when you reach it just stop.

Re 'being ripped off', well, that's pretty much impossible to happen when we talk about Microgaming powered casino. The Operator has zero control over the outcome of your spins, so no way they could hypothetically rip you off. When it comes to issues with withdrawals thou (delays, slow verification, unjustified paperwork requirements, etc etc), that's totally different story and yeah, the Operator mentioned in your post doesn't really hold the best reputation out there.

Hope the above helps.

Short answer. As soon as the welcome package expires.

A welcome package is 3-4 deposits and its more than enough to come at a conclusion about the casino. And follow the casino if it yields positive result. If welcome offer was bad leave and if it was good then try 3/4 more deposits. Four deposit which dont result in a cashout. Bye bye casino.
