Fiekie247
So I assume we all heard the big news https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/evolution-gaming-offers-to-buy-netent-in-%242-bln-online-casino-deal-2020-06-24 You think the board of Directors will accept it? Afi4wins
If I'm the chairman of NetEnt I would say SELL! SELL! SELL! (We can always start a new one!) Fiekie247
ValDes
Shocking news indeed! I mean, have always imagined it the other way around, NetEnt trying to buy Evolution, but obviously EG live games are becoming more and more popular while NetEnt's latest couple of years brought so many disappointing new releases to players... @Fiekie247, I think yes, they will accept the offer. The common market logic suggests that such a giant offer rarely comes 'uninvited' so to speak. Fiekie247 and cocopop3011

pyst777
Hope it's not true. I don't play much other than Netent or Microgaming slots. If Evilution take over Netent I will be limited to Microgaming only. cocopop3011
Flatzem
NetEnt acquired Red Tiger and if and when Evolution acquires NetENt then they will control both NetEnt and Red Tiger and who knows what else after that. Buying out the competition. This is the way it is done in the business world. Here I will share with you this pic to show how the company brands are owned by a few. And under it is the link to the map of all that Disney owns. Insane. https://storage.googleapis.com/titlemax-media/1c8ace8f-every-company-disney-owns-13_pageversion-lg.jpg
cocopop3011
Yep, I read this about two days ago and if Im being honest I had to read it a few times because I wasn't if it was a typo! Shocking news indeed, and I'm still a big NetEnt fan so who knows what the future holds.
pyst777
So did it turn out to be true about Netent?

Yes Evolution Majority Shareholder took 96% of Netent, after the extension of the acceptance period expired. - That was the last time I checked, I am sure 100% fully owned Now evolution has BTG as well I believe. pyst777
