Twizz66
Ok so here's a brand new play on the meaning of "wager requirements" I just finished a bonus playthrough and was expecting to put a withdrawl request in, only to see a new "bonus" amount of 1.00 When I asked why this is what I was told "Back on May 2nd 2020 I had a free spins email and I'd won some $36.00 but played out the $36.00 losing. Sso on June 1st I made a deposit we with a match bonus 200% So now 3 days later I have finished 100% wager requirements. But bec as use of this 30 day old loss, they're saying that ALL BONUS HISTORY MUST SHOW COMPLETED PLAYTHROUGH REGARDLESS OF TIME??? meaning that you will never be able to win since all bonuses that you have losses showing must be brought forward and the wager requirements must be played prior to withdrawal. I asked if this was new and I was advised T&C states all ACTIVE BONUSES wager requirements must be met. If you lose theres nothing deactivating a bonus so 6 months from now the old bonus that you thought was a loss, becomes active once again and that playthrough becomes active again. Does this seem fair or just?? The casino will never have to experience a loss?? Please tell me the truth about this new way of trickery please....I'm more confused now than ever... Thanks Twizz
ValDes
Hey there and welcome to AskGamblers Forum Nah, doesn't sound fair at all! Strongly encourage you to share with us the name of the operator in order to get more adequate feedback. Thanks.
Afi4wins
That's an absolutely ridiculous bonus term! All unfinished bonus wagering should be waived or removed when the balance goes to zero...should not be carried forward nor remain for any prolonged periods of time. If the casino doesn't or wouldn't clear the unfinished wagerings, then simply close that account, walk away and never play at that casino ever again! However, revealing the casino's name here would greatly benefit all readers to completely avoid such a scamming casino! cocopop3011
pinnit2015
Butlers Bingo etc used to engage in this unholy practice. The regulators should set up a mailbox where things like this are flagged to them and, should they not change it, have their licence taken away; yes, bonus's etc aren't mandatory but if offered they should be fair; not fraudulent which this verges on. Twizz66
Well I was reluctant to reveal the name before simply because I thought that perhaps I was just foolishly naive. But since y'all agree that it's ridiculous and in my opinion trickery. The name of the casino site that pulled this craziness is Captain Spins Casino. I've enjoyed playing there until now. Needless to say I lost my winning balance of $300+ trying to meet the wager requirements of a free spins bonus. This after meeting the match bonus playthrough. Sad day for me but really value your advise and am grateful for my fellow players. Thank you ASKGAMBLERS!!! cocopop3011
pinnit2015
Odd -White Hat Gaming? Not their biggest fan but their sites are normally well run and certainly not one i'd place on the dodgy list. Not me, but played quite a lot in my own house and never had any issue with taking bonus's, losing, playing for cash and then cashing out etc.... ValDes
Alright, have just checked their terms and here's what I found: Quote 5.3 The deposit and possible winnings connected to the bonus will be locked to the casino account until the wagering has been completed. Where promotions do allow withdrawals with an active bonus balance, at this stage, any remaining bonuses will be revoked. ... 12. Additional promotional terms 12.1 All bonuses except free spins will expire after 30 days of account inactivity unless the Significant Terms state otherwise. All free spins will expire after 10 days from the date they were awarded unless the Significant Terms state otherwise. We reserve the right to remove unused bonuses and related winnings if the promotion's terms are not fulfilled within this period. These terms are pretty normal and standard tbh, therefore we will need to see some screenshots and additional clarification from you in regards of the free spins bonus mentioned in your opening post, with all the relevant terms attached if possible. Thanks.
RazorX
Dodgy ill be avoiding that place a finished bonus is a finished bonus should be wiped end of story place sounds roguish surprising you at the last moment with a new bonus from way back when is just an attempt to stop winnings from being outgoing two completely different bonuses one situation has nothing to do with the other the terms and conditions allow for situations like this to be used at a whim by the casino he won the money with another bonus the bums should pay up ill keep that place and group on my "not to do list" . Efti
This seems like a classic example of a FU clause to me, where the player can't win no matter what Even the dodgier sites I've played at all make it clear that any bonus is considered complete when no funds are left to wager with. I would never willingly play at a casino that deems otherwise. Could it be that there was a small balance left from the free spins? Many sites set a small minimum sum (like 0.5 or 1 credit) below which wagering for a particular bonus can be voided, while some require the balance to read zero. A stuck game round could also be the culprit.
