Hi,

This is my first time on AskGamblers, but here’s my story.

So a few weeks back I signed up to Spinit casino and deposited a few hundred over the first week, I won around £1000 but decided to keep playing and try to build up my winnings. After around 3 weeks of going Up and Down I finally came out on top and requested a withdrawal of £4696. Now comes the complicated part...I had made the mistake of depositing with my boyfriends PayPal account registered to his name, as far as I’m aware, yes this is not allowed but most casinos will give you a pardon and allow you to take your winnings and go. I know this because only a few weeks before, on 32Red I withdrew £900 to my partners PayPal account, I was just asked to provide a few 3rd party documents, my deposit method was blocked, I received my winnings and that was that. Now back to my £4696 withdrawal from Spinit Casino, I received an email from them explaining how I needed to send them verification documents including documents for the 3rd party, and also a 3rd party declaration form, signed by my self the player and the 3rd party. I sent them off and they were verified no problem. Now, it’s been 7 days that my withdrawal has been pending, and I’m getting slightly worried that they’re going to find anyway they can to get out of paying me, and I feel they’re going to use my deposit method as that escape route. I mean, surely if they’ve asked me for a 3rd party signed declaration form, 3rd party documents and they’ve all been verified, that they’re happy to pay me in to my partners PayPal account? Also might I add, Spinit have already previously paid out around £500 to me in previous withdrawals to the same PayPal account before I was asked to verify my self. Is this likely to go in my favour? Has anyone had a similar experience? Can I expect to see my winnings?

Thanks

Then you should not have any problems if this worked before. Remember with Covid casinos are busy and Spinit are not the best in speedy withdrawals. My first withdrawal CasinoJoy at their sister site took 3 days and after that 24 hours for a few withdrawals. So its up and down and depending how busy they are I suppose. I think it takes longer because maybe you reached the threshold limit of 2k, now they might request a SOW or SOF maybe then process the withdrawal.

Welcome to Askgamblers.

Personally, i think you've been very fortunate to get any winnings with the different deposit methods. Many casinos will simply refund you back the deposits, not the winnings: some may even tell you ur getting nothing back (though i don't think that would stand)

Why are you continuing to deposit using your BF's paypal? It's just asking for trouble down the line.

On the topic of Spinit - horrible casino for delayed withdrawals, so sounds like their normal practice.

Yeah I mean going on the previous reply I'd count yourself lucky. The casino don't really need to find a way not to pay you because you are already in breach of their terms and conditions by not using your own account to fund your casino account.

If you get your winnings (which you may considering what they have asked for ) then I'd count yourself even luckier! Can you not set your own paypal up?

So they’ve now blocked me account with my withdrawal still pending. I’ve tried contacting them on live chat but all they’re telling me is that they can’t tell me why my accounts been blocked and I have to wait for an email. I mean why would they ask for 3rd party documentation and a 3rd party signed declaration form if they weren’t intending on paying me the winnings?

Hmmm, it's a tricky one. Did they give a timescale for the reply? I'm not even sure you can open a complaint here because technically you have breached their terms. What do you think @ValDes?

Hi @Initmate95and welcome to AskGamblers Forum.

The issue with 3rd party depositing has already been discussed in here for at least a dozen of times, pls use Search for more info.

Bottom line, yeah, if the payment used for deposing is registered under a different name you are in a trouble. Considering the nature of your issue, wouldn't encourage using AGCCS until you hear back from the casino operator and/or exhausted their own complaints procedure.

Good luck. :good:
