Btw I’m not sure VIKs always had that x2 in place. Pretty sure at the start it wasn’t. Never mind the caps, have you seen some of the excluded games on sites? Slotmillions nearly goes into 2 pages.

Just noticed casinorooms x100 wagering. Lord almighty... and only on netents I think. Which is doubly as bad - whoever meets that wagering on Finn, I’ll personally match their win.

It’s ok, we all know when the cap the wins at x1, x2 or in Nektan case x4 that’s when they’re allowed to crank up the RTP to Defcon levels....

Imagine winning a progressive and being told ‘ your 20 quid withdrawal has been procaessed’ (do the caps apply to progressives?). You’d see me flying off a bridge.

What is it with the word scam constantly banded about these days? Poor bonus conditions like this isn’t a scam if they’re transparent in the ts and cs (I’ve not looked)

VIKs has a x2 conversion. Is it a scam? No. Is it poor? Undoubtedly.

why would you want AG to help with a dispute when you’ve just submitted one via another forum? Let that run it’s course.

I personally don’t use fun mode but can see why some may use it.

There was a provider who were found to have their RTP settings at something like 1675% for fun mode for their games, however. People were wondering why the game didn’t play as well in real money ;-)

I’m waiting on credit checks being implemented in the UK as part of responsible gambling. Good luck with that.

Agreed 10 paylines on House of Doom makes it difficult to win, however the paytables are slightly higher though.

Temple Quest of BTG was the worst release ever, lets hope Bonanza 2 or Extra Chillies as they call it will be really good, however I see you can buy the feature with Bonanza 2...

Basically anything that involves you snipping away at the house advantage.

    Or winning too much.

Or, in the case of a Caddell casino, taking advantage of offers that are proactively sent to you. And you use. Weird.

I was thinking this the other day - Planet Fortune is relatively fun to play but in terms of pays it's rubbish. As for House of Doom - it's like a more rubbish version of Grim Muerto. Certainly not impressed by their most recent releases.

Don't really know if it's worth the while - L&L so trusted brand but seriously, only a 50% SUB?   Hardly gets the blood a pumping.

If you have a ABC or All Irish account i probably wouldn't go out of my way.

Aaah...but sorry mate...Boyle Casino is no go for me.

Anyway, I'm not that particular now about 'old' or 'new' DOA...because I don't play much of it nowadays, for one, and the new DOA seems to be as good as well...so what the heck...any DOA will do for me!

They have accepted my complaint and refunded all deposits in full. They were very good about it and apologised for their shortcomings.
Can’t thank you enough for your help; quoted the above regs to them in my email and I’m certain it assisted!
I do really Appreciate. best of luck to you at the tables

Or meet up and go to the pub - that's more likely. It's not a class action.

Before any court proceedings, which is unlikely to ever occur, you'd be best going through the dispute process via the ADR.

Agree, I made a total of €300 in one day, no winnings. I asked live chat for a small freebie but it was a no go. Leveling up is a joke, 3 free spins on 'random' games but mostly those games dont pay squat. Most of my bets were 60 cents at least, played Moon Princess at €1 per spin, leveled up and got 3 free spins worth 10 cents per spin.
I must admit I play at BitStarz more often now. On wednesday they have great offer. Deposit €180 and wager 1x, you'll rewarded 200 free spins the next day with no max cashout.

Yeah...don't know what's up with Casumo re payments. It's scattergun. No real incentive to deposit there (I don't care for the stupid reel races) anymore sadly.

Level up - getting 3 spins on fire joker? What's the point. Not even super spins!

Well, there is an 'advantage' of depositing via phone on some sites....it gets added to your bill if you pay monthly.....which may suit some players who have bust their monthly budget and have nay cash available.

Plus, maybe the person is out of available credit on the credit card or no funds in their bank or maybe their credit rating is shot (credit ratings don't exist really) and they can't get credit and they're a degenerate gambler.

Basically you get access to casino funds that you maybe don't have - so in that sense it's an advantage to the player as they can now play with cash they don't have and it bypasses the need for credit checks etc

    Which is nuts.

Some sites may only allow this if pay as you go and you have the credit there...some offer the pay monthly bill option

There must be some cap on it being added to your phone bill. I've never done it so I don't know.

What should be on the UKGC's radar:
     - deal with self exclusion issues
     - make Max Bet Shields mandatory for licences
     - stop players from being able to play restricted games with bonus money (rather then read 2 pages of resticted games which aren't in any order) - or do what Betat do: if you have 100 quid bonus money and go into DOA, you're balance shows as 0 so you can't actually play it!)
-dealing with some predatory t'c and c's.

Lets me honest - the reason not all have max bet protection and allow you to play restricted games is because it's in their interests not to have so.

Regulation is key, an oversight body with meaningful powers is key. Hence why MGA/UKGC/Alderney/Isle of Man would probably fill 4 of the top 5 licensing regimes. Same way that you place assurances on the Finance Conduct Authority in terms of banking institutions.

That's not to say that simply having a licence gets rid of all risk - As part of my job (non gambling related) we see bad conduct by organisations with licences in a particular trade/industry. Sometimes the licensing body may hand them out like confetti.

When i bought my Volkswagon i didn't know they were up to something shady, when i bought my Tesco burger i didn't know they'd throw a horse into the mix...greed is greed and nothings going to stop it. Only have to look at the 2007 financial crisis.

It's up to you if you think the licensing regime is sufficient. If the 'independently audited' certificates are sufficient. If the reviews by players and sites is sufficient.

Valid point re recourse - eg. in the UK the UKGC refuse to deal with SE issues so if AG or others can't help you're left with little alternatives. BUT...if it's a reputable site it will rarely come to that. Giving a regulator or ombudsman punitive sanction powers would really be the stick.

Only reason the USA is a closed clam for all but 4/5 states is because of tax. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's what ifs....how do i know - could apply that to all walks of life.

You would need casino and software provider collusion and lets be honest with the house edge they're already going to win from the outset

    Exactly...saw a 4000X one recently but that's an aberration.

Put it this way - if you hammer MG/Play N GO and others will you lose a lot? Likely. Will you however hit the odd massive win? Possibly - there's  a chance.

    Yggdrasil - hmmm

Nice fun games, terrible payouts for the majority of them.
