Haven't checked this thread before Dan, nice idea letting us know when you add new games. Videoslots are an A1 casino!

raverbabe got a reaction from cocopop3011 in PokerScout - Are they for real?!
I went to the casino on my 21st birthday, spent most of the night playing blackjack and roulette because those were the only games I really understood but I jumped on the machines at the end of the night and ended up rescuing my night from £200 down to £2000 up ... it was a great night but I saw how dangerous it could be right away as I wasn't earning a lot of money at the time.

Then I started playing poker in the halls of residence, regularly boosting my wages by taking the boys from them And I suppose that money financed my move to on-line gaming! I haven't really stopped since I hit my first five scatters on Dead or Alive - the friends I was with were taking the mickey as I was playing at just 0.09 per spin and thought I must be joking when I said I'd won £225!

There's not really any live poker games to play anymore except in the casino but the most popular one around here for poker I have an ex boyfriend who deals there so I kind of avoid the poker tables just incase of awkwardness

As for PokerScout... imagine every review here at AG was saying this casino is rigged, slots are blatantly cheating, every blackjack shoe is a cold deck, honestly it's ridiculous if you had a look at just the first one or two pages of reviews it mixes all sites together and people just say every one of them is crooked despite the site claiming they hide posts claiming the rooms are rigged by default. I just totally don't get it!

I guess all these sour players on tilt explains why even today with like 1/4 of the traffic I used to see back in 2013 it's still possible to make money sometimes.

I'm with cocopop on this one, nobody comes close to Videoslots for incentives at the moment for me! They've been getting the lions share of my gambling budget for a year or so now and I don't see that changing anytime soon - they send me wager free free spins every week too, which truly makes me feel like a valued customer - especially when I manage a withdrawal from these free spins!

Casumo has the best system like this that I have found so far, you earn different "belts" as you progress through the levels, I believe there are 250 or so to work your way through... it's certainly addictive trying to make your way up to the next level to see what your reward will be although sometimes I have been left a little underwhelmed with my "prize".

So many casinos reserve their loyalty offers for so called "VIP's" though, and even though I play a LOT at my favourite casinos I'm only actually a recognized VIP at two of them so I really appreciate it when casinos spread their promotional budget more fairly.

Frankly speaking, if all software platforms can be downloaded and be played from the desktop, I would prefer this.

Even if all Playtech casinos were to offer Instant Play option in the future, I'd still stick to my desktop play with the downloaded version. It cuts my waiting time by a lot. But Playtech now is no longer like the Playtech of yesteryear. Even the downloaded version takes a blardy long time to load some games, especially all Jackpot games, not like before. The games program and data may already be saved in the hard disk, but they don't automatically run now like before. Another new connection needs to be made first to the casino's server...and this is where my slow ISP is killing me!

Both their battle of the slots and weekly races are exclusive to VideoSlots and in my opinion there's no other casino that matches them in those particular areas.

However you may like to try out Casumo Casino - they have their own Reel Races which might interest you.

I made the obviously silly assumption that the rules were essentially the same for all three, save the actual subject obviously - doh !!

Sure I know the rule is payment on or before the 10th but I thought you may have a more specific idea as the tally has been verified now. I don't mean to sound impatient though!.. that said, I am looking forward to treating myself a little as I didn't work last month (hence having so much time to write reviews!) so it's going to be a VERY useful little funds topup for me this month. Thank you so much for the opportunity!

Sitting on the phone for Jet2 is going to seem pretty dull after spending a month knee deep in my favourite hobby! I've enjoyed being here so much though so my contributions are definitely not finished yet

I would try updating your browser because the Opera Chromium I am using automatically saves input into text boxes and replaces it after a submit failure. Also, the text editor often offers me the chance to recover my text too which I thought was built into the Askgamblers code.

Using a different editor and then pasting into the page seems the best solution overall though. Editplus is a nice simple one, I think it's meant to be for writing code but it's so much quicker than Word for such simple text jobs. I hear Notepad++ is good too.

I've not been back to it for a while though, was a little disappointed with my win when I finally killed the creature, but I'm certain there's more to be had from this game. I'll start collecting some screenshots this weekend, good luck everybody!

Exploring and posting too I hope. I've just read your post in our introductions thread..sounds like you are going to fit in well here! I'm cocopop, but you can call me Sharon, I'm a bit crazy but extremely down to earth and a bit of a laugh. So I'm hoping you are joining our family on a permanent basis, once you join there's no going back! Lol. Now I know your exploring...I'll look out for your posts. Have fun here and if there is anything u want to share then please feel free to at anytime!

Some of the best conversations I've ever had are with myself lol. I always get the answer I'm looking for without having the hassle of my partner saying no first and then me having to moan! Although on saying that, and I'm sure you will agree being a female ....there's nothing I like more than having a good old moan...ESPECIALLY at the man in your life !

    Hi ValDes!
Thanks for joining this discussion, Amy figured I could be of more use answering you at this stage, my idea s to intercept the traffic between the game and the server and use that data to calculate our own score table. There shouldn't be any need to involve the game providers in theory but I won't promise that until I have working code.

Looking at an IGT game just now, when you press the spin button a HTTP request is sent which returns a block of XML data that looks like this:

I've removed a lot of duplication as the data repeats for every payline and eventuality but hopefully the plaintext makes it clear this represents all of the information that the game needs to update the screen and the players balance after each spin has been accepted by the server. A block of data like this is sent every time you hit the spin button and in the simplest instance we could simply use the "Balance" part at the end to keep track of how each player is doing. Because we catch the data before it is sent to the players web browser there shouldn't be any way the data can be manipulated for any nefarious purposes...

Basically it's easier than you might of imagined and we could also use the data to offer prizes for hitting the most bonus rounds or specific combinations of symbols, anything like that... we can count the number of spins each player has had no problem but we won't be able to limit the betsize as they do in "Battle of Slots" - I think that's okay though, some players might want to dump their whole balance on one spin and pray for a bonus round whilst others will do the minimum bet for 100 spins. Videoslots clearly wanted to remove such mega variance from their tourneys and maybe we'll discover there was a very good reason for that, I guess we'll find out during the testing phase!

Anyway I promised Amy (Raverbabe) that I would attempt to do this for her and I guess I had better get on with it very soon, so I'll keep you updated !

That belt system was a masterstroke, any VIP system that awards a random prize each time you reach a milestone is basically another wager in itself so what gambler wouldn't want to finish their session by finding out what the next surprise will be?

Sometimes at Videoslots I find crazy amounts of tokens in my account after a long session, I have to force myself to go to bed and leave them for the next day as there's been times my balance has ended up back up at £50-100 just from the free spins and I find myself bleary eyed, drunk and its 6am .. !
