I'm a big fan of the NextGen Gaming Superbet feature. It was what made Merlin's Magic Re-Spins and Foxin' Wins Again so entertaining. I think the name of this slot could be better and that's maybe what puts people off. It's definitely one of the more enjoyable slots to hit the market recently.

I had high hopes for this slot with the suggestion of Stacked Wilds being the focal point but it has flattered to deceive. Very concerned that NetEnt are becoming the new Microgaming mass releasing average slots to focus on 1-2 major branded slots each year.
-
I think it still has to be the classic Immortal Romance from Microgaming but I do like IGT's Black Widow slot as well. In terms of fun, Tower Quest from Play'n Go is also a slot I've played quite a bit recently.

I used to love the old Sheriff Gaming slots until they came to an untimely departure from the market. I've never been a huge fan of the Betsoft Gaming slots but the Pinocchio one was probably the most entertaining. My favourite 3D slot, and I never thought I'd say this, is Sterling Silver 3D because you actually need 3D glasses to play it! The game play is decent and even though you could have more pay outs it isn't too bad.

Hi MacdoniS,
I know a few of my family and friends that have suffered from depression of varying degrees. It's a horrible condition. I think the one thing people get confused with is the fact that depression isn't just black and white. There are different types and severeities of it. The important thing is to try and not shut everyone out. That's easier said than done. I also don't really think medication can help depression. Not from what I've seen anyway. It might address the symptoms short term but does not help long term.
From my experience, exercising as much as you can, eating healthily, socializing, and remaining positive is the best treatment but there's no easy remedy. You've been extremely brave to come on here and talk about it. That will go a long way to helping you.

Yeah, there's been a few really decent releases since I last did my list. Dead or Alive is certainly the one that always crops up in people's top 10 lists.

I saw that Betsoft Gaming had released its latest slot called Event Horizon. Now, I am not sure if it is based on the movie of the same name but I really hope so.
Anyway, I checked their main site and there's no sign of it but a few news sources, including statements from Betsoft themselves, have stated it was released earlier this month. Any of you guys know where it can be played? I'd be keen to give it a go.

Play'n Go have exclusively released their new 5 reel, 20 payline slot Tower Quest at Maria Casino and Unibet Casino until Monday 6th April, 2015 when it goes on general release from Tuesday 7th April, 2015.
I have to say, this slot looks to be a game changer for Play'n Go. I really admire how they've hit 2015 so far and with Pimped and Easter Eggs before this release I think they are gaining momentum and could soon be considered one of the big players in the slots industry. Particularly because they release their slots online and on the mobile platform simultaneously.

Another huge win on this millionaire-maker. Just wondered if any of you guys had enjoyed any success on it? I've not really played it too much before but have heard people doing quite well from it.
In this case it looks like it was a first time deposit as well. Beginner's luck!

Fascinating to hear about this. Funnily enough, I think I've learned more about history from slots than I ever did in school! We only really covered the Industrial Revolution, World War II, and the Middle East Crisis in school... and I'll be danged if I can remember anything about the Middle East that made sense!

It's been a positive start to 2015 for Net Entertainment and this appears to be continuing that trend. I like the levels process and Net Ent slots are often fun to play, even if they can be a bit tight at times. Got high expectations for this though.

Ooh okay! So did you attend the conference too?
Yeah. Went last year as well. However, the approach both times was different. Last year was more affiliate-focused but this year was more content-driven so that was interesting to see it from those perspectives.
How about you cocopop? You attended before?

Zabier - Who do you work for then? I think I'm missing something here!
I am a freelance writer but do work for Gamingslots. In the past, I've done work for a number of other sites as well.

Really looking forward to see how they do this slot. A bonus feature based on each band member or a number of their best singles would be a great idea.

We visited ICE, but in my honest opinion, this conference is not for affiliates. At least until payment providers and software providers realise that they actually can work with affiliates and benefit from them
It was very big, far, serious and boring conference for me.
Despite I played some new games, on real slot machines and roulette tables..the whole impression is - Sterile and high serious, with so many suits and staid faces.
But we made some good contacts, so hopefully it will turn out, as a good move
How was it for you, Zabier??
Yeah, I know what you mean Luciana. The work I was doing there last year was very much for an affiliate site and I felt the same. I was there on behalf of Gamingslots this year and found meeting with developers particularly beneficial. However, the responses by some developers is a lot more positive than others. Some just lack total interest and fob you off.
The one thing ICE is great for is news and blogs. Developers announce their big releases and if you get your hands on the right documents you can get hold of their 6 month roadmaps but these are usually gone by day 2 and day 3.
I enjoyed it and met some top people but I am glad it is over. It's hard work and often you can have an hour long meeting with zero benefit but then you can get a half hour meeting with loads of benefits.

Hi guys. I know some of you attended ICE but thought I'd post this video review of the event taken from a slot player's perspective as opposed to the perspective of one of the companies that had a stand there and was keen to promote its own products.

Those of you that attended, what was your stand out moment? Personally, I loved the camel that made an appearance. Can't remember what stand it was at! Also loved seeing freestyle football champion Dan Magness there. I know those aren't slots-related moments but they stood out for me.
On a slots front I was excited to see what Play'n Go have got coming out.

I'm with ValDes. When I started reviewing online slots I wasn't too familiar with WMS Gaming slots. However, I've picked up quickly that they are loved by both land-based and online slots players. Features such as Colossal Reels and Hot Hot Super Re-Spins really set them apart from the average slots. I haven't played I Love Lucy yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a cracker!

I lost a lot of time for Microgaming when they released So Many Monsters, So Much Candy, and So Much Sushi together in a triple release. The games were almost identical templates just with different skins. So much lazy developing more like! Granted, they chuck a big release out every now and again but considering they are just a highly regarded developer they should be releasing better slots more often.

RTG casinos are in my bad books because they never made free play versions of their games readily available for me to review them back in the day (by back in the day I mean last year!). I'm not a fan of their layouts either. Feel a bit cheap. Interesting reading other people's views on them.
-
Sounds like poor treatment by the casino that is likely to cost them more than your winnings in poor PR. As the poster above mentioned, it's best to read the terms and conditions because they usually sneak something in there but even so this is a poor bit of judgement by the casino.

You're like the Viktor Blom of slots gaming! I'm a bit of a Larry Lightweight when it comes to betting on slots. I start off betting small and trying to snatch the wins here and there but if I win anything I get more cavalier. I also get more adventurous when my boredom kicks in. That's why playing boring slots is more dangerous for me. If they're not naturally fun I look to make them fun! Hahaha. You're just unhinged though mate!

Dead or Alive is one good choice. I actually loved the Aliens slot by Net Entertainment. It was quite complex to get to grips with but once I understood it I had a decent run on it. I also didn't mind playing Immortal Romance a few times.

Favourite Free spins bonus - Zeus/Deck the Halls, stacked wilds are my favourites, or Mad Hatters bunnys with extra wild...or of course Great Blue....too many to choose from
Favourite Bonus bonus - Rainbow riches leprechauns bonus.
Favourite pick bonus - Franken Cash Frankenstein bonus
I would have to agree with Zeus for free spins. Dead or Alive is another that I love. The biggest win I've had was on Elvis - A Little More Action so overall probably that slot.

One thing Play'n Go are doing this year is releasing visually stunning slots. I think this has a similar set up to Pimped by the same developer. It's not a bad slot by any means and reminds me a bit of IGT's Masques of San Marco.
