  1. Well, I would never used the word 'magic' to describe what Ronaldo is doing with the ball, simply because their is only one magician when it comes to football and his name is Messi. :p

Seriously, I hate Ronaldo since he was a teenager at Manchester United. I wish Sir Alex was beating him more often then. :D

    Apple vs. orange? Seriously...? :D

Because of you said not just once you really hate him I think it's forgiven for not being objective.

  2. I checked again and here's full reply:

"Hmm I have double checked, and it looks like there  has been some changes and I was told that these methods and the restrictions will keep changing according to the needs for specific countries.

I’m sorry I got you wrong info!

Neteller withdraw and deposit restricted: CZ, AU, Romania, Portugal.

Skrill withdraw and deposit: CZ, AU, Romania, Portugal.

I am afraid I don’t have the exact list, as it keeps changing all the time. And they are planning to re-introduce Neteller and Skrill in Romania.

But the above is true today."

May I ask the source of this info is from a representative or someone from the upper management?

Anyway, it's very interesting especially the 'changing all the time' part. Of course the main company is monitoring all the circumstances, interests and needs but I never thought this can be so labile.

  3. As MacdoniS said almost every bookie use some kind of bet limits except the betting exchange sites. (It's not totally true as if I know correctly for example at Betfair €10.000 is the max. bet but they and Asian bookies ((188bet, SBobet or Pinnacle are definitely the best from this aspect).

There are companies which limit your maximum bet but make it you possible to monitor the proper amount while placing the bet (bet365, Gamebookers) while others limit the maximum winnable amount per bet. Some bookies limit bets for different type of events, bet formula or by other rules. Some players say they were limited after a longer winning streak, so I don't think there would be a consensus answer for the question of 'why' and this is one of the things we have to accept and live with.

Most of these bet limits are not affect everyday players but what I can't accept and understand is when I'm not allowed to place more than €30 or €50 on a single ticket (Bwin, Paddy Power)

All in all, I recommend exchange and Asian bookies for not limiting bets or the other way that use several bookies to place the same bets.

  4. My son is 5 and I'm sure you are right that kids are way tougher than we think.

However, wish if I could miss such kind of troubles if possible. Could only imagine what Katerina was going through these days... :(

Of course, it's totally different story and it's absolutely not about me but you can imagine how terrible I felt myself (even knowning that I couldn't have done anything to prevent the accident) when took back him to his parents and told them what happened.

I just wanted to say, it's obvious everybody wants to avoid such kind of happenings but sometimes it's simple impossible no matter how careful and caring we are and in 'my' case it was really surprising for me how my little playmate could handle the situation and the next time when we met the first question from him was 'When will we go out again?' :)

NextTimeWin - I guess he's not old enough to remember the Brasil Ronaldo ;)

  5. OK, I have just finished the chat conversation with one of their representatives and even though I couldn't receive an answer for the question of 'why' but he could confirm that e-wallets deposit/withdrawal possibilites are removed due to company decision based on territorial policy and no one from Hungary (and I guess from other restricted country like Romania) can use them any longer.

I asked whether it's a final decision or not and he said it's valid for indefinite time so there's a possibility that e-wallets options are going to be re-established in the future.

This time at least I got more detailed answers that cleared up some things and the guy I chatted with was really polite and helpful. :good:

  6. My little nephew (4 years old) was in the same situation last winter and I witnessed as he slipped on the ice and he also broke his arm. At the very first moment all the pain in the world was written on his little face but later when things calmed down and he got his plaster we could make joke out of this horrid event. Maybe it sounds stupid but he was some kind of proud of it and I don't know why, maybe he felt himself like a grown-up.

I think this kind of accident is more shocking for parents becasue these little bandits are more tough than we think.

Anyway, sorry to hear that katemak and please pass our best wishes to him! Get well soon!  ;)

  7. I didn't know where to write it and didn't want to open a new topic for this but

it's another sad day for us as I recently got an e-mail from FortunaWin that their

services won't be available after 30th of April. :(

(I suppose this is another territorial restriction which am really fed up with)

Unlike bet-at-home at least they informed us and make it availabe to access our

accounts, upload docs if needed and make withdrawals for 30 days.

  8. This is exactly what I did last week though... After the insane streak I had at the end of March and beginning of April, a dreadful time has come and I limit my monthly gambling budget to $150, soon followed by complete pause from gambling recently... The pause is about to last till May 1st, hope Lady Luck will pay a visit soon after to her old friend Guru! :D

Yes, Miss Fortune sometimes is a hot lover while other times she acts like a :diablo:

but finding her in good mood is really priceless. :)

  9. Generally I like the summer months the most at least I had the best results then in the past, so I still hope the best remains to be seen this year too (though it's true there's not much traffic in sports fields so I focuse more on casino games at that period of the year).

But regardless of months, sometimes after some bigger wins I like to pause gambling activity for a few days just to not let the good taste in my mouth to slip away for a while. :D

  10. In the past I participated in some free roll BetOnSoft slot & blackjack tournaments and they're were really cool.

I think it was at Atlantis Gold when once I could won the top prize which were €30 bonus cash while playing with Lucky Leprechauns slot and even if I couldn't transformed it any real cash but it was real funny experience.

Reading this topic I think I should attand again such kind of competitions, so thanks for reminding me for that! :good:

  11. Yes, I also own a Visa card and don't mind if I have to use it (and when anno opened a bank account exclusively for gambling purposes I rejected the MasterCard offer to be able to withdraw money via credit card if I need to) but I just liked and preferred the mobility and flexibility of e-wallet transactions what Unibet what provided for me.

Personally, I also prefer the multi-services companies where I get the complete package and besides sports betting I can access to casino games too and Unibet was/is one of my favourite to do it.

Probably, I was a little bit harsh when saying about Unibet 'almost unusable' because now when I see the glass is still half full of water, I know I'm going to play there further but I'm just sick of it all unexpected limitations and restrictions what I experienced lately.

  12. No need to be sorry Paquito. I am always very interested in a punter's ideas :D I am not that a passionate punter, but I am always eager to find a method to beat the odds. Talking about passion... besides I am passionate about my wife, Lucy, Awena, Coco, Kate and all the other ladies of this great forum, I am definitely a extremely passionate rouletteplayer :yahoo:

You see, using any strategies and systems at roulette table is more interesting and exciting for me.

By the way, I also like the spinning wheels a lot. ;)

  13. Hi guys I have one question for you please!

I dont have time to go trough the pages and check if you already suggested the best place to be for online sport bet please!

My absolute favourite is bet365 and I think they're the best all-round bookmaker on the market and defintely the best in covering live events. (Unibet is also a great choice but I know you already have an account there).

Other British bookies (William Hill, Paddy Power) are also the most reliable partners in the business but their odds are not always good enough and some of them will limit your bets sooner of later.

For the possible best odds I could recommend betting exchange sites like Betfair (or Matchbook) and for Asian handicap and hockey bets in my opinion Pinnacle must be your first priority.

  14. And to have programs which take care of your wallet, like the ones Raptordinos suggested and uses :)

Yes, they must be great softwares and definetely very useful but for me they would make this whole gambling thing a little bit 'official' and when I'd look at the column of Losses at the end of the month...well...sometimes I will feel there won't be next month.

  15. Thanks Paquito for your very detailled answer regarding the sure bets  :good: . Me too have spend lots of time finding sure bets, and indeed some monitoring tools were very usefull, but the profits are just too small to make up the losses.

But could you tell me something more about value bets, more specifically how to determine if a bet has value in it?

Personally I take a look at the head to head statistics, wich almost always results in valued odd of the strong outsider. For example: outsider has lost 9 of 10 away matches against favorite. Statistically outsider has a chance of 10% to win, and 90% to lose.  In other words, the bookies are giving higher odds to the outsider as the statistics would suggest.. This method seems to lead to nowhere. The opposite method (when there is value in an outsider, bet the favourite) is also a dead end.

Sorry mate, I don't think I'm the one who could give you any advise in this subject. :(

Value bets are simple based only mathematics and probability closing out every 'human' factor like injury, actual form, rivalry or circumstances like weather and many others and it's really far away from my betting style. It's almost a science to be successful with it long term and I'm more of a passional bettor than to make real depth analysis.

Back to the sure bet system what I'm more familiar with (or at least I was in the past). That's the point of the system, there's no losses at all if your doing everything right but you're right the profits are small and that's why you have to be flexible. If you place 1000 units on a pair of bets the profit is just around 30-50  - at least it's guaranteed - but if you want to make some serious money you have to place not just one bet at a time and this is a very serious process in moneywise standpoint.

  16. Yeah, it would be nice to hear other gamblers' experiences about it.

I'm just thinking if it's only territorial thing, maybe it's because of they let us to

withdraw money via different method than the deposit was made?

I know some players used Unibet to deposit via Skrill then withdraw to own bank

accounts avoiding any Skrill fees and currency exchange.

If that's the reason I still can't understand why e-wallets are denied I think they should

find another way to regulate it.

Thanks Luciana, it's well appreciated!

  17. I honestly don't know whether this whole thing deserves an own topic but if it's not I hope ValDes will put it to the appropriate section, isn't it? ;)

It's been a while since Unibet removed Skrill and Neteller options from their available deposit method list and of course I asked them why but they just said it was becasue of money laundering and security purposes.

I wanted to know more about this decision and asked them again and again whether it's just temporary or it's a territorial restriction but never got a straight answer just this security response.

I'm wondering other gamblers also experienced this unfortunate policy or have a more detailed information about it?

Anyway, I liked Unibet a lot but this restriction really makes them almost unusable for me! :(

  18. Oh, I almost forgot to mention another important thing you take care.

Of course the bookies don't really like arbitrage and if they're a little bit suspicious

maybe they are going to limit the stakes you can place which basically ends using any

    arbitrage system at them.

Some bookie do it regardless whether you used it or not and will limit you in any event,

like bwin or paddypower which is not just unfortunate but also inapprehensible for me.
