Base RTP calculation based on demo game spins
Brophymj replied to Brophymj's topic in Casinos General
Statistically, 100k would get you within a percent. This is 10/15 pts so it must be the fact it’s a fun game. -
I’ve run 100,000 spins on the Powerspins demo game for Rainbow Jackpots and the RTP is 80%. I checked this because the RTP has seemed low based on my real play. According to Red Tiger, the RTP is 95%. I know for Powerspins, 3% goes to the jackpots so the base should be around 92%. Is it possible Powerspins take an additional 10%??? 100k should be a large enough sample to give an estimate close to the true RTP so I’m puzzled. Maybe the demo game isn’t a good indicator. I also ran the same test for Gal Casino (same game) and the RTP was 89%. There should be be some independent authority that checks this, otjerwise, the helpn in the game is giving false information and deceiving punters.

What is the best (most reputable) casino for slots

Hi, just wondering what the round id is? Is the the unique id related to one spin by a user?

Hi Afi4wins, the rules of the game specifically state that the odds of winning increase the closer you get to the time limit. While you are correct in saying, traffic increases significantly in the last hour, the chances of winning from a single spin are definitely higher in the last hour. I’ve followed this for some time and I have never seen the jackpot won before the last 2 hours - even though the jackpot size which is directly related to accumulated traffic is well over 50% of what is won eventually. So, both base on the rules in black and white and the nunbers, what you’re saying doesn’t stack up.

Hi I play Red Tiger games on a number of different casinos and I have a question about the Daily Jackpot game Rainbow Jackpots which the casinos I queried this with did not know and referred me onto you. I use 888 and Betfair and I mainly play for the incentive of winning non-jackpot prizes but I also play for the off chance I hit one of the jackpots. I’ve reviewed the Help Guide around this game in detail and there are some aspect of the rules that aren’t clear (see attached) and I was hoping someone could able to clarify. Daily Jackpot I’ve been advised by the casinos that the probability of winning the daily jackpot is not correlated with stake. So if I bet €2 of €0.2, my odds of winning the daily jackpot are the same – is this correct or does it vary depending on the casino? Betfair have confirmed that the odds are not correlated with stake size. It’s confusing because the help states the progressive jackpots – of which the Daily Jackpot is one – are correlated with stake size – but then it says the Daily Jackpot is time-dependent so the chances are correlated to the time left on the daily countdown. The Help for most of the casinos – except 888 – states that only the first £2 of each stake is eligible for the daily jackpot win. I take this to mean a %, say 2%, of each stake goes into the daily jackpot Pot and this is capped at £2. What is this % and do the chances of winning the Daily Jackpot increase with stake but capped at £2? I think the best way to answer this is to advise how a £10 bet would be split into the timed and other tiered jackpots. i.e. Daily Jackpot 2% of first £2 od the £10 bet so £0.2 Other tiered jackpots – 2% of the remaining £8 so £0.8 Some specifics on this would be much appreciated.

Is there a list of wins? It’s no proportional to stake so I presume most are betting the minimum in the final hour. It would be great to get confirmation on this.

The daily jackpot is very strange. I believe the expected value of winning - as in the probability of winning times the jackpot - is significantly greater than the stake in the last hour of the game. If you had a significant bankroll and played these games consistently in a clever way, you would make money in the long run. 2% of your stake goes towards the daily jackpot so for about 23 hours of the day, all stakes are contributing towards a pot they almost certainly won’t win in the that time frame. Only in the last hour or less is it really worth playing for the daily jackpot. As it’s only 2%, I wouldn’t say people have the patience or are bothered to hang on and are happy to play for the non-jackpot prizes. The pot spikes in the last hour due to the huge increase in betting but even allowing for that, you’re still in positive EV territory in the last hour and this increase the closer you get to the time limit.

I’ve noticed that a lot of online casinos - paddy power, betsson, CasinoEuro, betfair etc. have daily jackpots with Red Tiger Games. I’ve sent the below query to a few and I get different responses. Can anyone help answer the below! 1. My understanding is that the daily jackpot - as in the one which has to be won within 24 hours - does not depend on bet size. So, a €0.10 bet will give the same likelihood of winning the daily jackpot at a €100 bet. 2. What is the typical stake placed on these daily jackpot games? Just an rough idea- I presume it’s very low .ie €0.2. 3. Finally, can you play multiple daily jackpot games at the same time or is one per member only permitted. Many thanks Sent from my iPhone

Fair enough, I just like find it interesting and I do play other games and bet based on what I can afford. So, I presume you don’t know of any source that will Enlighten me?

I’m doing some statistical analysis on these 24 hour time limit games, specifically the red tiger games on 888casino. Does anyone know if the time and amount of the jackpot is published anywhere. It would be great to have a few months of data on 1. Jackpot amount 2. time of win 3. The game the jackpot was hit To go one step further, and I doubt this is available, but how the jackpot changed in the last hour i:e the value of the jackpot every minute/5/minutes etc. I doubt this is available anywhere but thought u was ask. I’m assuming 888 don’t publish this sort of data but maybe there’s another website where the data is scraped. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Matthew

Thanks Fieke I appreciate that. I’m really keen to know what the average bet is in the last hour before a timed jackpot ends. You can then work out what the number of total spins is in that hour by looking at the increase in the Jackpot. This will allow you to work out a likelihood. The funny thing about the daily jackpot is that it’s pretty much always won in the last hour so your “expected” payoff is profitable I reckon. If you just put min bet on turbo and played every day for the last hour, you would hit the jackpot well before spending the amount of the jackpot on Bets. I did the maths even assuming 20 cent bets and you will win in the long run. You need a decent bankroll but it reckon it’s a flaw in the game. Do you know any other posts where average bet it discusses on these daily jackpot games? Thanks
