Can you please name the casino you were playing at so that we can make you understand what happened. BTW there are 4 types of bonuses that casinos usually offer. Sticky: This is a bonus offered by casino which cannot be withdrawn but you have to finish wager. For eg: You deposit €100 and get €100 bonus with 4000 wager. In this case you cannot withdraw balance until you finished wager which in this case is 8000. After you finish wager the €100 as bonus would be removed. So after finishing wager if you have say €500, the initial €100 will be removed and you will get 400. Sticky (no wager) : This bonus does not have any wager requirements. So if you deposit €100 and get €100 bonus you get total 200. You can play up and win and withdraw whenever you want but initial 100 will be removed. Even if you go lower than initial 200 and end up at 150 and want to withdraw you will get €50 only. No-sticky (real+bonus):When you play this bonus your balance is divided into real and bonus funds and you begin playing with real money first and you can withdraw whenever you want untill you reach bonus. When you reach bonus balance then your wager starts and after finishing wager all money is available to withdraw. For eg: If You deposit €100 and get €100 bonus with 4000 wager. Your starting balance is 200. You can withdraw whenever you want until you reach €100. After that bonus money starts and you have to finish wager. No-sticky (all bonus): In this bonus when you deposit with bonus the entire bal is turned into bonus and you cannot withdraw until you finish wager. Some casino will allow you to withdraw balance but only the initial amount. So if you deposit €100 and get €100 and end up reaching € 300 you can only withdarw €100.

One more thing I would like to add that NLC slots have a chance of upgrading a normal 3 scatter bonus to a super bonus. Its almost possible on all NLC slots.

Nobody does a fraud to play with real money. No point in doing fraud just to play with real money. That's what you are missing. Bonus abuse is a big problem for casinos and in maximum case identity theft is done by a younger person of an old person who is unaware of gambling (I assume). Casino can never stop bonus abuse. But in this case this casino has lowered their chance of being scammed by a younger person by reducing age limit.

I assume you are looking from a point of view of people who wants to take a bonus. Imagine it from a point of view of a 60 + whose if/documents or cards are used. It's better for them. I won't be surprised if we see more of these. Ukgc has already blocked credit cards for deposits I guess. It may not be related to this but it's a sign of what's coming next.

Oops. I think Mr P you made the mistake of judging the top google result as general. That number you gave is for US and for year 2019/2020 only. We dont have any numbers for Identity theft for gambling. Our only trusted source can be Valdes and Cocopop who deal with these complaints at agcs. Valdes himself confessed that some cases of Kyc are unbelievable. Most importantly UK citizens are the biggest example of Identity theft criminals and victims. Lets not forget UK as a whole has been banned to take bonuses because of their notorious bonus abuse. So much so the UK casinos dont allow neteller/skrill deposits to claim deposit bonuses. If people can steal peoples identity to create e wallets then bonus abuse at casino is stealing candy from a kid.

I think we all jumped to a conclusion regarding that age limit thing. I just contacted live chat and they said there is an age limit to avoid identity thefts. The casino had cases were young relatives were using identity/documents of old relatives for gambling. Old people who had no knowledge of gambling. This is something @ValDes also mentioned in the why we need kyc thread. I think its a good approach. I favor the casino on this one.

After Disney took over Marvel they discontinued all slots since they dont believe in gambling. They dont want their names to be associated with any form of gambling. There might be an article somewher. You can link that article on trustpilot and ask the validity of their games since disney already discontinued them.
