I have been playing at King Billy for quite some time as well as other online casinos and I have never had a problem, but the last withdrawal I made were declined and the money put back in my account. I contacted support both in live chat and by email and was told the problem was with my bank and not at their end. So I went to the bank and was told there's nothing they can do, they said visa had stopped the payment. The next part of the conversation was odd, the bank manager suggested I open an account with another bank and use a new card. I'm in Australia and I'm wondering if anyone else has had visa card payments stopped from being returned. I spoke with the new bank I joined and they said they they knew nothing about visa stopping money from gambling sites. They hinted it might just be my bank which is a local credit union, but when I said so you think it's just the credit union they said they would rather not comment. I'm trying to find a way to get my winnings back, I opened a skrill and netteller account but was told by the casino I can't use them from Australia. Any advice on how to get my winnings would be great or if you are using visa successfully the name of the bank would be great.

If they allowed a deposit to go out from the card but won't allow a refund back to the same payment method I would not be happy at all. If the casino will allow you to withdraw via  different method can you not just use a bank transfer anyway?

Yeah it's really strange for Visa, if it was a MasterCard then I'd understand why not. Do you not have a different Visa card you can use? Or maybe just try the withdrawal again to the same Visa, maybe Visa just had an issue on that day with their systems.

Hey :)

Problems with bank wire transfers to Aussie players is a well known and unfortunately a common issue with Direx casinos. King Billy on the other hand is a trusted casino operator which means you can be sure they will do their best to find a proper solution. Just a bit of patience and understanding from your end is need I guess. ;)

In any case, if something goes wrong, feel free to come back and use our complaints service.

Yes I've been trying hard to get my money back, I opened a new account with a different bank and had to wait over a week for my new visa card to arrive, sadly the withdrawal didn't go through, I have been keeping in contact with the casino by email and they have tried to help me as much as possible. They recommended an Australian bank which they haven't had problems with and they also recommended I do a bank transfer so I can get my money while I wait for the new card to arrive. I made a bank transfer on the 1st of January and it is still pending, it says one to three days for bank transfers so I'm hoping it goes through soon. If it doesn't I will try the visa card the casino recommended I get. I don't know why my new card was declined as when I opened the account they assured me that it would be fine. I'm starting to worry I'm going to say goodbye to my $1300 winnings. It was 1400 but I lost a hundred dollars yesterday. Haha one hundred in two and a half weeks is pretty good for me. It's been difficult watching my money and not gambling. I'm worried about depositing until I find a way to get my winnings back. I find it very strange that two different banks visa cards are not accepting withdrawal but I have no problem depositing to my account using them. I was thinking of testing them with another casino just to make sure it is my card.

Don’t class it as gone yet! A little wee patience might just be the key here. And don’t spend any more of it, be strong. Find something to keep you busy, it’ll be worth it if the latest withdrawal is processed. Keep us posted

My money has arrived in my account this morning. I have to say King Billy have been great and kept me informed through all of my concerns and have also given me the name of a new bank that I shouldn't have problems with sending visa payments, I opened a new account so hopefully I won't need to use international money transfer again.
