pinnit2015
Ah, looks the the day of the 3 days until w/d's hit your account are now on the wane. These are the following casino's that now process to your VISA DEBIT card straight away - like a faster payment, the money's in your account within seconds, even if back to card Sky Vegas Barclays Mr Green/Redbet Can't say about Barclays but RBS group definitely Trada RBS Group Calzone Casino RBS Not all casinos are offering this - there must be something on the payment processors side that has to have something (very technical), enabled. For eg, Calzone cleared in my bank within seconds of approval, but Rizk (part of the same group), did the 2 days. But looks like it's being rolled out/offered across different card providers. It's a shame SkyVegas only support Barclays. I've never been one to mind waiting for a withdrawal, the quicker I have it the sooner I spend it so it doesn't really bother me, but having the option there would be cool. I do actually have a Barclays but I don't use it for gambling transactions. My other account is non RBS. IlayBro and pinnit2015
pinnit2015
I tend to keep all my gambling transactions on one card (to keep them off my main bank a/c: surprised it's not been closed tbh). I imagine it may see some people not bother with Trustly if it's rolled out across the board, as the speed is the main selling point. The benefit that Trustly still has over it is the reduced threat of someone misusing/misappropriating your card details.
catapultaudio
Sky Vegas was the only one I know of, but many casinos support Trustly which gets you your money back to the same account the card is on immediately... I haven't had too much trouble with money laundering rules or whatever depositing with my card then sending the money back via Trustly... as long as all the accounts are verified etc I think a lot of casinos will let you do it this way. I mean mine are few and far between now and even his half more than halfed over the last couple of years but I don't think it has ever been asked about. I still haven't used Trustly but since my problems with Skrill years ago it's made me lose all trust in e-wallets. It's the lack of customer support that bothers me so much, at least with out high streets banks I know I can always go and talk to someone face to fact if there is a problem with one of my transactions. My best friend had Skrill close his account for no apparent reason a couple of years back and it's made me quite nervous whenever I have a big chunk in there ever since... took him months before they allowed him to empty his balance out to his bank account, basically just because he was waiting weeks inbetween responses from their departments and it took many steps before t hey unlocked the withdraw to bank feature of his account ... I'd love it if these instant card withdrawals became standard, seems unlikely though as it appears to depend on a direct relationship between the casino and individual banks cocopop3011

RBS are Ulster Bank/Natwest mainly....HBOS are Halifax/TSB etc.....Think they got hold of Natwest in the 90's sometime. Not a very interesting fact but RBS helped form Tesco Bank. That's definitely interesting to me because I had a tonne of trouble with my tesco account a year ago with the card not working properly when withdrawing cash, and they eventually closed the account and made me pay back a load of money I never even got... If there IS a link to NatWest that would explain a thing or two and possibly help me with the ombudsman

If there IS a link to NatWest that would explain a thing or two and possibly help me with the ombudsman Well, i suppose strictly speaking (from a governance POV), Natwest etc aren't owned by RBS: rather, RBS, Natwest etc are subsidiaries of the Royal Bank Group Tesco Bank was a 50/50 Joint Venture between RBS and Tesco. But, like most JV's, Tesco bought the RBS shares off them to basically give Tesco's a 100% holding in the bank.
pinnit2015
Minor caveat - after the whole 'you must segregate your core operations from investment arms of the business', Natwest's parent company is actually Natwest Holdings but, for all intents and purposes, still part of the Royal Bank Group. So, ask for money and it will say your card is invalid, contact issuer... but it still takes the damn money out of my account. If I remember just to ask for a balance I get the same message and can put the card back in and withdraw normally the next time. Every time I forget to do this though I have to ring the bank, they put the money back into my account later that day, and then I wait weeks for them to "investigate" the issue and write to me to confirm they have verified the issue. Tried everything the bank doesn't know what is wrong with it. I switched to Monzo now, much better bank!
pinnit2015
Also add Volt Casino and Kaboo to mix FYI - it's not an agreement between the casinos and the processors, per se, it's just these casino have signed up to 'Visa Direct' Don't know why they aren't making folk more aware of it - it's a massive selling point (and for UK anyhow, hopefully will see an end to people like Skrill charging nearly a fiver for withdrawals) ValDes and cocopop3011 1
