Monica Prather
Had a $750 pending Bitcoin w/d - Fair Go Australian casino - during 2 day pending period, I redeemed a 25 Free Spin bonus that I was emailed. Lost my $750.00. They said because I redeemed the bonus with a pending w/d. My main question was why did it allow me to? You know the prohibitions that come up 'you've redeemed this the max number of times' whatever - why didn't it come up with 'you have a pending w/d that will be lost if you redeem this." It allowed me to. I didn't know I'd lose it. Doesn't seem fair. :(
Fiekie247
@Monica Prather Hello and Welcome to AskGamblers. I know that all of RTG casinos does not allow claiming bonus while having pending withdraw. You should wait untill its processed. I am familiar with this and I am afriad there is nothing that can be done. I am sorry but its stated in any RTG casinos terms. I play in Springbok and know this as well Look at point 25 cocopop3011
copyyy
One of worst casinos that exist, why did they even allow her to claim the bonus and on other hands they just took player winnings and got away with it, tbh online casinos have to be regulated much better this probably happens every single day to multiple people and casino gets away with it. Like I'm gonna make my own online casino and state in term&condition if you claim any bonus on the site you will not be able to withdraw your winnings, and not even warn people or anything. Fiekie247
Well @copyyy at the end of the day, if she read the terms no harm. I do not agree with the rules, but its visible and thats the point. The fact that its visible and published. If it was hidden or you could not find it, now thats another story I hear you, but terms are stated and Monica should have read it.
copyyy
@Fiekie247I know what do you mean but 90% of people who are beginners to online gambling and it's their first time depositing are not reading terms&conditions which is bad but still, in my opinion, it's just a way for casino to take players winnings as soon they made the smallest mistake like that one claiming the bonus. Let's say it's the first time for Monica playing on that site, yeah she did something wrong according to casino terms&conditions but they did not give her any warning and immediately took her 750$ which is not the low amount of money couldn't they just tell her that she was forbidden to do that, cancel her bonus and pay her at the end? There are a lot of casinos with absurd terms&conditions and I'm honestly sick of it and something has to be done about it especially with Real Time Gaming casinos that are hoping for players not to read their terms&conditions so they can take their winnings, don't even know why are they allowed to have such a terms&conditions. Fiekie247
Yeah its beyond me as well brother, but still the fact its visible and published changed the game. However @Monica Prather - Did you play with real cash or did you claim a bonus when you won $750? Thanks copyyy
catapultaudio
What a scam though...!! Just seizing the entire withdrawal is surely the actions of a shady outfit?! I I can accept cancelling the withdrawal and not allowing a further wd until the wagering on the free spins has been met... What possible fair reason can you give for invalidating the entire amount... Legitimate winnings no doubt obtained through deposited funds...?? pinnit2015
Another term I'd like to see pitched before a court. It's a FU term - you'd probably have it struck legally for being wholly disproportionate to the offence.
Fiekie247
It is a FU term. I remember Springbok casino used to offer alot of big NDB's and if you made a deposit that week, you can claim like 1500 zar or equivalent as a free token with x5 max cashout. So I always make minimum deposit to take advantage. Now the promotion runs from Monday to Friday. So I deposited Thursday Morning R100 zar and got my balance up to 1500 zar and decided to withdraw. Normally withdrawals are pending a full 48 hours. So while the witdrawal was pending I wanted to claim the freebie since I made the deposit and they advise that I should not claim the bonus as you cannot claim bonus while having pending withdrawal. I was a irritated, but okay I got the win as well, so I left it. This then confirmed whether you play with Bonus Funds or Straight cash that Term applies to both. I know someone that works for Springbok, I am going to contact him and get a little more info, just in terms of the confiscation of winnings etc. Ill update. Monica Prather
I started with a low $50 deposit with no bonus attached. Got it up to $750. I agree it's my fault for not being aware of it. I was more angry that I got the email telling me to redeem it, then it allowed me to, then my w/d is just gone. Oh, well - live and learn - it's not going to stop me from playing I do have another question, though. Would redeeming your Comp Points or getting your Cashback be considered the same thing ? Should I not risk those things either with a pending withdraw?

You can just ask support and then if they say yes it would affect it, you can just wait until the withdrawal is dealt with first. Patience is a virtue, so they say. tracywild
Hi Monica it's best not to claim comp points in exchange for funds to pay with when you have a pending withdrawal that's just another way to loose your winnings and am sure it's in the T&C's the best thing to do if you are not sure is to review the T&C's also ask via chat and keep all your chats so you can refer to them. I have found the only bonus which has been safe to play with while having pending withdrawals is the daily 14 free spins for 7 days , I'm wary of all bonuses and always check before I use any of them. Good luck hitting the big one.
