Do you trust a casinos support team telling you which slots are the “hottest” at the moment

Hello everyone. So I have a question. I’m a relatively new to online casinos and since I’m located in the United States that limits me quite a bit to where I can play. Today I asked support of Uptown Aces which were the hottest slots right now. I was given 3 slots. My question is do you trust what slots they might tell you ? Or if a slot is labeled as “Hot” on the main page. If not do you advise other slots ? Thanks!!

You know how the milk always tends to be in the back of the supermarket, so you need to walk through and past all those isles of "great offers" ? I've never trusted "hot" signs, support agents or any other advice to be honest, perhaps I'm to cautious. If i'm feeling frisky and want to try something new, I go to the back of the archives

I don't think there is any reason for them to lie about something like that plus be careful with sites like that one they're blacklisted on AskGamblers.

Slots are all based on a Random Number Generator (RNG) 

The RNG is doing like millions of different outcomes a second. 

Try to think of it this way, imagine you have a bottle with like 10 dices and when you shake the bottle if all the dice numbers are higher than

7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7 than you get a big win. 

If you can land

10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10

You win the JACKPOT 

What happens is any given month majority of people may have won on a particular slot more than other slots (this could be due to many factors like people prefere a particular slot more hence if a slot is getting more actions your bound to see someone hit a big payout eventually than another slot that might be less popular amongst people. 

There is no such thing as HOT or COLD slot, they are all RNG based. 

The only thing that can affect how often you win is the variance eg High or Medium or Low variance and RTP but in the long term you will lose money. 

I hope this clears things up I too once believed in this Hot & Cold nonsense but thanks to askgamblers community learnt alot and saw through the smoke.

Holy cow! Thank you soo much!! I love all the knowledge I have gained here  I am adding a new question to my post now. Since Uptown Aces is black listed what do you members recommend? I have been using Mandarin Palace for over a year now and it has faired me quite well. However I have noticed recently That that casino is blacklisted too. Thank you!

Never used and would never use - if you can't be bothered applying/being accepted for a licence from Curacao, you must be a bit of a bottom feeder IMO.

Used Mandarin they have like 3-4 sites looking the same and owned by the same brand I guess, Grand Eagle, JackpotWheel, Black Lotus etc.
Be careful their slots are extremely difficult to get some big wins on I remember that only way for me to get some big win was to gamble winnings on some slots and let's not start with their Europen Roulette it happened to me 3 times that I covered whole board and 1-2 numbers that I didn't bet on came multiple times in a row.
They do not offer live casino and all are working without a license and blacklisted on AskGamblers.

The whole group got my nod of disapproval long ago based on their predatory bonus terms, low withdrawal maximums, extended payout times and endless unresolved/unaddressed player concerns/complaints. That very little has changed in the terms & conditions leads me to believe my choice to not put them on my list of sites to trust with a deposit remains valid.

Videoslots have largest selection of providers and slots, almost no pending period, fast withdrawals and decent player incentives/rewards.

N1 meets most of the same said above and adds in some pretty decent perks for loyalty (5x wagering bonuses, cashnacks, etc)

Sure, no reason not to believe them when they tell you what the "hot" slots are... that just means those are the games that have been paying out the most in the last 24 hours or whatever doesn't it? Unless your the kind of person who takes that to mean YOU are more likely to win more from those games automatically as a result, there's nothing wrong with sharing this information.

Some people would decide to stay well away from those "hot" machines though too, wouldn't they? Afterall, if the games have already paid out a whole bunch in the last 24 hours, you could take that to mean they are LESS likely to pay you something now couldn't you?!

Obviously both of these views are ridiculous... past events have ZERO influence on your odds of winning anything from a slot machine in the future. 

Like everything else in online gaming it's best to take these "hot slot" recommendations as a bit of fun, nothing more. Sure, give those games a try by all means, but your expectations should be just the same as any other game, on any other day.

i dont believe the hot slots at all , ive lost so much playing on them, maybe its worded "hot slot" as in a lot of people playing but no wins mentioned

Also i dont like the casinos where they mention the bigs wins , but it can be anything from days or week or months ago

You are on the right track RaX. 

Casinos saying or labelling certain slots as 'hot' simply means they are the currently most played slots...it certainly doesn't mean slots that are paying well! Such slots, if mentioned, would be labelled as slots that have paid 100% and above, not labelled as 'hot'.

I agree I asked the support team earlier today they said it’s popular at this moment.

since you are one with knowledge of online casinos do you know any LEGIT online casinos that accept US players but actually have a license besides Gaming Curacao. I have heard many bad things about GC.

Oh geees...I really wish I can give some good advices to US players, but I honestly cannot.

All I can say is that Curacao-licensed casinos are not all bad...it's just that the Curacao Authority themselves just wouldn't give a hoot to any complaints! So as long as you don't run into any problematic issues with Curacao-licensed casinos, then they should be okay. If you don't like their terms, then don't play!

 I still appreciate your comment! Thank you! I have done a lot of research. Honestly it has stopped me gambling  all us U.S players have is RTG, Saucify, Rival and Betsoft as the main software sadly
