Recommended Posts

Hi im not new to gambling but a newbie to online gambling.

I am a little confused or intrigued why so many bonuses and offers from all casinos to double your deposit, but then want a minimum 10x wagering on all bonuses

So if i understand this correctly,Deposit £100, Casino gives me £100 as bonus

I lose the initial £100, so the latter £100 if i win £100, i have to sping this to a minimum of £1000 in winnings before i win any money,]

Its difficult to win any money without bonus offers so why would anyone accept a wagering bonus

Well I think it's down to personal preference isn't it. You can play without a bonus and don't have to worry about any wagering but then have a smaller starting balance or go for the wagering with a bigger balance. Over the years I go back and for with taking them and not taking them.

And actually if you find a bonus with just a 10x wagering requirement this is good! I'd actually jump at that as a welcome bonus!

The problem here, Rakesh, is that this topic has been previously discussed so many times before, so much so that members like me, for example, are rather hesitant to repeat ourselves... ?

You can browse and find various topics within this forum regarding deposit bonuses and their wagering requirements...and you can read on the various responses on it too.

Basically...I'm repeating myself here, but never mind... :p ...some players do take up deposit bonuses, especially those 100% or more bonuses, simply to have a bigger starting balance, enabling them to play with bigger bets than what they would usually play with. If lucky, they may make a big win, then complete the huge wagering requirement, and finally make a nice big withdrawal!

Impossible? Not at all! There already have been several lucky players would took bonuses and finally withdrew tens of thousands of dollars in winnings!!! But of course, 99.99% of the other players who took such bonuses would only end up defeated, hehehe.

One more important aspect...not every player can afford to make big deposits to play with bigger bets...so these players would prefer getting those big bonuses...for a better chance at winning big money...or simply go bust in trying...hahaha.

hi both i do agree, but with any wagering requirement if i win £100, and its a 36x wagtering requirement i have to gamble that 36times x £100 effectively £3600 in winnings before i can reap any profilt,

Unless im missing something i.e i have £100 in bonus, so i gamble that in say £10 a game 10 times and that last £10 i win £4000+ does that mean my wagering is complete and im £400 up?

But what if you use your real money first, win absolutely nothing then but then you have your £100 bonus funds to use. Isn't such a bad idea then is it? Now if you win you have to complete the wagering to withdraw yes, but you'd have won nothing from your real funds anyway, it's only having the bonus funds that meant you were able to win. That's when a bonus becomes attractive. It's just the way you look at it.

Don't forget that when using bonus money, there's always a max bet size allowed, which is usually 5 USD/EUR/GBP/etc...so betting with $10 per bet, for example, would break that rule and all winnings would be confiscated. However, if you win $4000 playing with $5 bets, then whatever balance you have after completing the wagering amount becomes your real cash!

Consider the bonus money as your second chance at making a win whenever your real cash money has been played and lost!

I'm usually not a fan of deposit percentage bonuses (I'll take free spins any day). But if the offer is right I'll use it.

Just last night Casino Rewards offered me 150% with 50 free spins on Book of Oz with a 20.00 deposit. Made 1 dollar on top of my deposit. I lost it all lol.

Headed to bed, checked my email one last time. Got a message saying they gave me a 25.00 return bonus. Ended up playing till 3am, passed wagering requirements and walked away with 200.00

Hi welcome, I personally don't ever take deposit match bonus unless it gives a advantage.

Usually most casinos I'm aware of you can always cancel the bonus as long as you've not used it.

Scenario A

Eg deposit £100 + £100 bonus.

If you win on your deposit and balance now (deposit £150 + £100 bonus) just cancel the bonus and cash out the £150.

Scenario B

£100 deposit lost, you bet £5 a go with £100 bonus win a huge amount if lucky eg £1,000 than spam minimum bet 0.15p on a low variance slot till wager complete (hopefully you lose a little or gain a little profit) than cash out whatever the balance is around £500-£1,200 as an example.

So it's just a second chance, always make sure read the terms of bonus you can cancel it and your deposit is not tied to the bonus.

Hi there! I'm a newbie as a casino player and I can't figure out how to calculate if the bonus is worthy or not. Seeking on the formes like this one, I failed to find the answer, thus, I decided to register and ask. So, guys, can you help me to choose the casino offer, for example, out of these 4 bonuses:

  • Casumo Casino - up to 200% up to €1,200 + 200 free spins
  • 32Red Casino - 160% up to €160 Welcome Match
  • Luxury Casino - $1,000 Welcome Bonus Package
  • Monster Casino - £5 No Deposit Bonus

Can you explain why you choose one or another promo? They are so different in terms and offers and I don't see a value of any :(

Well if this was me I'd need to know the wagering of each one first before I could decide which one I'd accept over the other. But there's loads of other terms you need to consider too. And it's really hard to say which one is the 'best' because we all look for different things in a bonus.

I would take Casumo's offer of 200% bonus + 200 free spins - you get 200% bonus (better than most), you get 200 free spins (better then most), but best of all, if you make a big win during your play, you can make a withdrawal of that win without needing to complete the bonus wagering! No other casino can offer this benefit now, as far as I know.

Luxury's $1000 Welcome Bonus Package may be spread across a few deposits most probably, I don't really know.

Monster 5GBP No Deposit Bonus is just a very small appetiser to try out their casino - even if you got lucky and won, you can only withdraw a limited small amount.

You mean on Casumo?

If I wasn't complaining about Casumo 2 years ago, I'd still be at the top VIP level there now...but when their customer services went down, I went down, walked out and left them behind!

Wrong...

\You can withdraw only if you made a big win using your real cash balance and if you make that win using your bonus portion of the money - then wagering will apply through out, unless they now split the bet half half from real money and half from bonus balance the entire time, which means you will always have a portion to cash out should you make a big win.

@kukla90 - I would say take the Casumo offer as well.

Redbet also offer the same terms where you can withdraw real cash first.

From what I know mate, if bonus is taken, the withdrawal amount will always take away a portion of the bonus share, meaning, each spin plays with a portion of real money + bonus money, even though if the bonus money has not been used as yet.

@RaX - Afi basically gave you the quick run down of playing with bonuses but if you want to read a bit more as claiming bonuses has other factors to consider, max bet, coin domination, restricted game list etc etc -

I just realized actually my signature is not displaying which contain the starter guide for Newbies.

@cocopop3011

Can you inquire about the signature please? Or have a missed the discussion where the signature was removed as part of the new AG Website?
