A while back I thought I was spending too much on Leo Vegas so I self excluded. Now I have an account with Spinstation (and couple of others). Does that mean if I won on Spinstation they could withhold my deposits and cancel winnings as I have self excluded elsewhere? Sorry if this is a naive question! I don’t ten to read the T&C’s. TheAverageGuy Posted January 19, 2019 Share Posted January 19, 2019 Most casino groups have a Self exclusion policy that if you are shut down at one of their brands, you should be turned off at all of them. This is especially true of those who have an MGA license as there is the potential for some very severe fines for the operators if it's found that they ignored obvious problem gambling behaviours or worse yet, facilitated, enticed or encouraged an identified problem gambler to continue to gamble. This only applies to sites who fall under the same corporate umbrella, there isn't as of yet a central database of blacklisted/self excluded players.. or at the very least if there was no one would talk about it because of the privacy implications. If I'm not mistaken though I just saw a headline in the last day or two that suggested the MGA was looking towards that sort of an all inclusive system in the future. Leovegas buy over Caddell/WHG (Spinstation) and apply the SE to them. Breaches of SE only apply if on the same licence but as THG says above, more and more casinos are applying it across their entire group - even if not on the same licence. Eg. LV and Royal Panda have two separate ones but the SE is now applied across both - not a regulatory thing but a policy they've obviously decided upon. PS - always read t's and c's, it will save you a lot of heartbreak in the future. Online gambling is a large industry, you can stop playing at one casino but the doors of hundreds others are wide open.
