Freough1989
Hey all, I wanted to get some of your opinions on the bookies betfred. Based on the trust pilot site they are being slated badly but sometimes i do feel people bet more than they could of afforded and lost then take out there anger on the site by writing bad reviews. I joined betfred 2 days, made a deposit of £10 and got £30 bonus and played some bingo and some small side games and had a good time, i won around £16 but didn't withdraw. So far i am liking the site but I would like to hear some thoughts from ask gamblers before I carry on. Thanks
pinnit2015
Wouldn’t pay much attention to Trust Pilot. Look at comments on most casinos - I lost money! Bad site! Er... it’s gambling. Gee whiz. Providing you’re not a BF employee trying to PR them ;-) They’re a UK bookie. Not as good as Willhill but better than Ladbrokes. But not as good as the non high street brands. average at best. cocopop3011
Yeah pretty much what Pinnit has said, high street bookies. Never really had much to do with Betfred, played at others like WH, Ladbrokes and Coral but never a huge fan of any of them when it came to online gaming. Is it just Bingo you're after? frankel
yea pretty much what co co and pinnit have said not played on his online site but use his bookies a bit and find he is the best of the high street firms when it comes to his horses and football offers and the blokes not afraid to stick his neck out and give you a chance unlike some of the other firms that I wont mention. cocopop3011

In regards to high street bookies I’ve only really ever used Ladbrokes and apart from being asked ID a few times (I’m

Kingraj
Hi all, hope all well. Well I'll give my experience on betfred. I've only signed up with them online but found their bonus terms very strange eg doing 500 auto spins or playing longer than 2hrs on a game is bonus breach. If you playing without bonus I guess they are similar to William Hill but I've found WH a lot better person experience.
ozziex99
As previously mentioned, most bookie Trust Pilot reviews are from bitter punters trying their luck for refunds etc. I wouldn't take too much notice as all of them seem to have dodgy reviews from people trying to damage them. As for the Betfred website. it's a lot less clunky than their old version from a few months back, which used to get a lot of criticism from loyal players pleading for a new update. In all honesty, when it comes to withdrawals I have never had a problem - payments are usually in my account within a few days (even for bigger wins I have had using the slots). I also get a lot of decent bonus emails sent to my email which entice me to bet more with Betfred than a lot of the other bookies I am signed up to. Hope this helps. pinnit2015
The high street bookies were my first dabble into online gaming. I then migrated towards the non high street variety. Pains me to say but places like William Hill, for U.K. punters at least, are arguably offering more value for your pound than others in many instances. Whether it’s because they carry more financial clout than the others, and hence can afford to suck up the increase in running costs/tax changes than others, I don’t know. The plus points for these big brands - is that you know they’ve enough money in the bank to pay you should you win big. Some of the others (Mr WL), I think you’d be a bit twitchy. The other plus points is that I’ve never had a SOW from WH (just using as example as one of the only ones I play at), not have I been asked to submit ridiculous KYC to them. They seem to adopt a bit more of a reasoned view. Just some 5 cents about them - I still play 90% at the non high street brand and possibly still will do. I moved away from them because I think they were slow in beefing up their online presence but that’s all changed or is changing. I’d still WH didn’t touch Mr Green, but who knows....
