No, sports betting is not scam at all.

 

Bookmakers are providing their odds to the varios matches.

 

The team with less chance to win has bigger odd, which means that if they win, you will get more money, but people are rarely not bet on the teams with less chance to win, so at the end, bookmaker makes a profit.

 

All bookmakers has a profit margin which varies from 8-12%.

thanks there a thread like this... i've been thinking for a week now if I will join a sportbook.. but don't know if it safe or someone might fraud me.. but thanks for the info i might think about this and join...

Sportsbooks are not scammers, in general. You just have to look for the most reliable ones.

 

I would like to hear from people if they are having problems with any sportsbooks, so that I'd know which ones should I go for and which ones should I avoid.
