cocopop3011
So I've just come across something which I haven't come across before A casino that has both a MGA license and UK license but upon speaking to live chat they told me they don't accept players from the UK. Don't really get why they'd have a UK license to be honest it was always my honest understanding that only UK players adhere and can use the UK license in a mixed license casino. But I guess I was wrong, right?
Piper89
Suppose it's a bit like being an advance driving licence holder even tho you work in McDonald's looks good
Afi4wins
Maybe it's all part of a devious marketing ploy... "hey look here everybody...we've got both MGA aaaaand UKGC Licenses...so we are absolutely trustworthy for all your gambling needs...so come play with us!" Afi4wins
Well...as far as I am concerned, all my top favourite casinos have Curacao licenses!!!
pinnit2015
Pretty pointless having the UK licence if you don’t accept UK players. Some stats that the UK are a hive for fraud so maybe they started with the intention of accepting but decided it’s not worth the hassle and/or want it under their belt should they decide to go into the market. Certainly is the polar opposite from Curacao clipshot joints like Gale Martin etc.
Piper89
Anyone have any idea how much a current licence registered with the UK comminson costs? Considering the fact a alcohol license in this country is the guts of 40k
pinnit2015
Not just the cost of the licence but also the potential costs of fines that come with a breach.... presume it’s the latter that may cause more heeby jeebies
pinnit2015
Not as cheap as you'd think: at the top end of the scale you've got an application fee of around 60k but then the annual fee of, again, top end = 400k ish. Possibly more if they're over the threshold (tapered)
