What You Didn't Know About Champagne Spins Casino

Recommended Posts

What you didn't know about Champagne Spins Casino...sounds like something out of Youtube doesn't it? Hehehe.  :p

Well, there are a couple of things that I have found out about this casino, which you won't find at any other casino, which are either 'not-preferable' or 'non-standard', depending on how you look at it.

Firstly, when I signed up and made my first deposit at the casino, I claimed the welcome bonus and its accompanying free spins. As usual, play began using my real cash first, with the bonus money coming in only after exhausting that real cash money - nothing strange in that at all. With a bit of good luck, I managed to make a small win, still playing with my real cash money, and tried to make a withdrawal, only to be informed on screen that a withdrawal cannot be made whilst there's an active bonus - once again, nothing strange in that.

Okaaay, so the logical thing for anyone to do would be to cancel that active bonus, right? Yep, that's what I did - I cancelled the unfinished remaining wagering requirement on that bonus amount, but in doing so, a message popped up indicating that the free spins would be cancelled off too! What the argh! Now, this is NOT the standard practice! Usually, you can cancel any unfinished wagering, without losing out any unused or unactivated free spins!

And so it was that I made my withdrawal, lost the free spins offer, but got the payment from the casino in quick time. Ah...at least that's one good thing!  ^_^

Secondly, some months after that first incident, which was yesterday, I made my second deposit of $40, paid $1 extra as a deposit fee, but took no bonus with my deposit, simply because I didn't want to be tied down again to that ridiculous and absurd bonus term. My intention was very clear - I wanted to play on my favourite Finn And The Swirly Spin game, which I haven't played at this casino as yet, without any restrictions whatsoever. So I clicked on the game...but nothing happened...tried a few more times...still nothing! Other games were working fine.

So I checked up with the casino's live chat host and he informed me that the game can ONLY be played in DEMO mode! What the argh!  :shok:

Champagne Spins is yet another one of Direx NV casinos, but this is the ONLY casino that doesn't allow real money play on Finn's game! Very very strange indeed! Needless to say, I was very very disappointed!  :fool:

Thirdly, I requested for a full refund of my deposit because I made that deposit purely to play on that Finn game and nothing else. The host couldn't help me out in this instance, so he suggested doing a request via email to the Support team instead. Okay, fair enough...and my request got sent soon after.

Rick Valentine, a real valentine guy I would say, hehehe, answered my query a few minutes later. He asked me what the problem was, so I explained to him, in great detail, on why I made that deposit, paid a $1 fee, only to find that I cannot play that Finn game. I explained to him why I wanted a full refund of my money, without having to do the required 1x wagering on the deposited amount before a withdrawal can be made. I also explained to him why I didn't want to play on any other game, because that wasn't my intention. So I told him, I can accept only 2 options - either refund my full $41 money (including that $1 deposit fee), or close my account so that I can get back my money. There can be no two ways about it, I told Rick.  :p

Fourthly, a few minutes later, good ole Rick replied back, thanked me for the great details, hahaha, and he also informed me that I can now make my withdrawal of the full $41 amount! Whoopie! Rick understood my situation, he saw the logics behind my request, so he approved a full refund, and he even said that he would be writing to the casino's management about that Finn game - to make it available for play with real money! :yahoo:

Now that is one superb customer service!!!  :good:

Fifthly, now this is really getting to be a long story, isn't it, hahaha...but not to worry, I'll make it very short for you, hehehe. I made my withdrawal and got paid within a few minutes...maybe like 5 minutes, 10 at the most!!! Now that is one blazing lightning fast withdrawal speed!  :good:

Sixthly, I know that some readers may not read everything that I have written here...you know...skip the details...just read the conclusion...hehehe...but the final point is...Champagne Spins Casino is one good casino...even with its limited game providers!  :D

(PS...Piper mate...is that way too many pixels for you mate? Hahaha )

Hehe - I read from start to finish :p

So many points to comment on but I'll keep it brief.

Agree about the silly bonus term with losing the free spins I guess I'd be pretty annoyed with that too, seems a bit unfair if you ask me but I gues they're compensating in other ways with fast withdrawals and customer support and you know I love good support!!

Really strange you can only play Fynn in demo mode, doesn't really make much sense, hopefully Rick can work his magic for you and get it live. Quick question, did you actually get the deposit fee back too? :p

Yes, I got back my $40 deposit AND that $1 deposit fee...all in lightning speed!  :D

Now I'm just waiting for Rick to confirm that Finn can be played with cash money...then it'll be up, up and another deposit from me!

Finn is currently my top favourite game, beating Supe It Up into 2nd place!  ^_^

Within this 7 days alone, I have made about 4 or 5 small wins and withdrawals...all from Finn alone!

What a good leprechaun he has been for me all week long! Hehehe.  :D

Yep, it sure is, especially lately.  ^_^

The only thing about this Finn game is...NEVER expect it to pay big...and quickly withdraw any small wins (100% or more)! Hehehe. After all the spins that I've done on this game, I can now play it with a peace of mind...knowing when to play small and when to increase my bets...the secrets to riding out those bad runs and making an elusive win!  ^_^

With a name like that I bet Rick Valentine is a real hunk.

Might make up a issue just so I can go chat him up.

:shok: ...  :spiteful: ...   To each his own...  :D

Well Piper mate, if that issue had not been resolved by Rick, then I would next get a confirmation from the live chat host that I would get a full refund upon closing my account. Some casinos would not do any refund at all if an account closure was requested by the player, as I have recently found out at 24 Bettle Casino, but I'm not sure what Champagne Spins would do, hence I need to be certain first.

If no refund is possible upon closing my account, then I would wager my deposit 1x and make a withdrawal of whatever balance is left. THEN I will close my account! Whenever I have any issue that cannot be amicably resolved by a casino, I would close my account - no hesitation whatsoever!  :p

Don't call him Ricky - makes him sound like he's from Eastenders   <_>

I'm finding it strange you're cheering for England  :p

1-1 15 minutes left!

You've got more patience than me! If I'd found out I couldn't play the game I deposited for I just would have blown my deposit in anger :p

I'd the same thing with Cherry Casino - they advertised as being a MG casino but then seemed to pull them. As i only played Immortal at time they told me to play others. Said no, you've advertised as having MG etc etc. Ended up getting it back just to be thran.

Given most places you've to withdraw back to deposit method I'm not so sure if the x1 is strictly a AML measure anyway. Lot of UKGC casinos are now letting you take it out without X1 - they simply charge you a fee (which would seem to give credence to the above)

That's another bet that's hit the scud...

Edit - Had England at 2-1  :D Just tomorrow to go for 200-1 acca.

After muting the commentary for the pure drivel that commentators come out with it can now be unmuted  ^_^

  • 2 weeks later...

Champagne Spins from the get go has shown itself, at least in my experience, to have a very different "personality" than the standard Direx/BGaming operator. In my personal interactions with the "men behind the curtain" I've been impressed time and again with their focus in turning the right dial and pulling the right lever to ensure that the mystical wizard of odds crushes the wicked while still granting the wishes of those who are true in word and deed.

Management is not disconnected from the day to day or removed from the cares and concerns of their players, but instead you'll come to find has their fingers in everything and a watchful eye on EVERY aspect of the operations of their brand and the players who keep returning.

In my own experiences and in reading the dealings they've had with others to this point,

they seem to be very effectively honing their TOS and general operating policies to efficiently dispose of those who intend them harm, while keeping them flexible enough to allow reasonable resolution for the well intentioned

and impressive generosity to foster positive relations with the rest of us.

Again... Just my own interactions, but I actually kinda feel guilty I'm not a more active, loyal player yet.. but while this goldilocks finds the temperature of their porridge "just right" the furnishings aren't cozy enough yet for me to rest comfortably ;-P

Now all that aside if anyone wants to discuss mixed analogies, discombobulated metaphors and single ideas somehow rambling on endlessly for no good reason apparently I still have room in my life for that...

Well, I must agree to some of your points there, AverageGuy, but more than that, I cannot say or know better, until I can see for myself the positive changes taking place.  :p

Anyhow, Rick Valentine has just confirmed to me today that my favourite Finn game can now be played with real money...but no longer can be played in the Demo mode...hahaha...what a twist of events for that Finn game...but I ain't complaining!  :D

But yes, the guys at Champagne Spins Casino are certainly looking after their customers...but so are a few other Direx N.V casinos too...and that's why they're my top favourite casinos now. Not having MGA or UKGC licences makes no difference to me!  :p

of my top 4 deposited, frequented haunts Direx holds 2 spots, GiG the other 2.. But I've never met a GiG I didn't like, can't say the same for Direx.. which is funny for how closely linked many of them are right down to the shared support..

How much "player appreciation" affects my depositing decisions? I am pretty much steady way down on my deposit:withdrawal ratio at both direx sites.. But I do love the free spins and bonuses ;-P

It's alright though, I stay pretty heavily a winner on the 2 GiG sites, so they balance out my losses.. and keep my actual expenses reasonable.. but shh, don't tell them, they may team up and wreck it for all of us.

Any casino that starts wrecking my enjoyment, my perks, or not sticking to their rules will see a definite closure of account from me!  :p
