(UK) What happens if I can't complete verification checks?

Recommended Posts

You can be electronically verified w/o the need to send passports/driving licences etc - a la Willy Hill, SV etc.

I think the above is the position that the UKGC wants to default to with other physical documents being requested when there's a query over the data matching.

What's the casino name and secondly, what ID do you normally have? I know not everyone drives etc but, say when applying for a mortgage, did you have to supply anything?

Each casino, AFAIK, has discretion to accept certain docs etc but generally speaking it is passport/driving licence (if they don't do online ID verification). Some accept birth certs, though i wouldn't be overly keen on sending that.

Rather than get into a debate with them, however valid, i'd probably spend 70 quid to get a passport etc as a shortcut to 2k.

The fact that you were allowed to deposit though suggests that they did some sort of ID verification on you.....so you can ask how did they verify your ID when allowed to deposit. Because surely if that happened, why the need for a passport etc?

And if they say they didn't then tell them they've breached their licence terms - that may jump start a withdrawal being processed.

Bingo sites are notoriously tricky when dealing with - it's like talking to a wall most times.
