Hey ladies and gentleman Ive known this has been talked about but I couldnt find indepth detail about this bonus rule. Its the one saying irregular play could be placing bets 30% more or equal to your bonus amount orginally given. Ive been told different things from different operators. I have bet bigger and still gotten my funds no problem. Here is a convo from the casino royalvegas....

Ill paste the bonus rule

your play will be reviewed for any irregular playing patterns e.g. playing of equal, zero margin bets or hedge betting, which all shall be considered irregular gaming for Bonus play-through requirements purposes. Other examples of irregular game play include but are not limited to, placing single bets equal to or in excess of 30% or more of the value of the bonus credited to your account until such time as the play-through requirements for that bonus have been met. The Casino reserves the right to decide in its sole discretion which activities constitute "irregular play" for Bonus play-through requirement purposes from time-to-time and to withhold any withdrawals

Because my bonus is 50 that means to stay in the limit I shouldnt bet more then 14.99 which seems low to me. Am I allowed to bet more or will they confiscate my funds

No you, can bet any amount.

I know I am able to but the bonus terms suggests otherwise

This is why I get confused because alot of people have had their winnings taken away due to this bonus rule

We will not confiscate your funds. The only time you will forfeit your bonus money is if you withdraw before reaching your play through.

Does that rule not apply to me then ?

riyaaz9:59 p.m.

No, you do not have to worry about that. Just as long as you meet your play through requirements

What is going on here Why am I exempt from this rule what makes me so special? Maybe because its regular for me to make big bets? Why for some players do they confiscate the players. Maybe someone can explain better. Thank you

Hello Kenneth and welcome to Askgamblers.

I am unable to play at any Microgaming casinos as my country is restricted, however I have visited the casino in question and could not stumble on the exact term you are referring to.

I went through the General T's and C's, Deposit Bonus T's and C's as well as the Welcome Bonus T's and C's... - Cannot find the phrase mentioning "irregular play could be placing bets 30% more or equal to your bonus amount originally given" - I would bet it safe, most casinos have a max bet rule of 5 $/Euro/GBP per spin, however some e-wallet deposits have lower betting limits.

I play on a lot of GameTech group casinos and they have the not exceeding 30% of bonus amount betting rule in place which reads like this:

15.1. You must bet according to the specific rules of the game you are playing.

15.2. We reserve the right to withhold any withdrawals and/or confiscate all winnings and bonuses for irregular play.

"Irregular play" includes, inter alia:

  • Placing total bets equal to or greater than 30% of the value of the deposit currently in play

In cases where a bonus was received, prior to the wager requirements for the bonus having been met, “Irregular play” additionally includes:

Placing total bets equal to or greater than 30% of the value of the bonus credited to the player account.

Now I know the stick to this rule and you are allowed to place bets of up to 30% of your bonus or deposited amount. However I cannot confirm this for Royal Vegas as you are taking the word of the live chat agent - Personally I do not trust it, since what he is saying can't be confirmed in black and white inside their terms on there website, so be careful.

There are  many times when live chat gives the wrong information and the casino would just come back apologizing saying the agent was mistaken or said the wrong things or was not clued up about the specific inquiry etc. - This happened to me once and pissed me off, but what can I do, however this was not a confiscation of funds, it had something to do with not getting what they advertised or promised.

I would suggest wait for Valdes as he knows Microgaming casinos very well and has an eye for detail when looking into casino terms and conditions and similar things like that.

However other forum members might be able to give some feedback.

My take - Place bets of 2 euro and lower rather untill you 100% sure what is the correct T's and C's.

All the best.

Thanks man this is an awesome response I appreciate it. Yes it confusing talking to the agents sometimes. Ive being told its in relation to your current bonus not the bonus you started with, which contradicts the terms. Im just gonna play it safe for now. I was making 500 dollar bets and I started with 250 bonus so thats well over the limit and i was fine.

I am sure if you were making 500 dollar bets, you must have had one hellll of a balance and I suppose you were playing table games and not slot games? Which also means you already completed wagering requirements which is why you were fine.

Betting limits only apply until wagering has been met, if wagering has been met, you can place bet of any amount with the remainder of the balance.

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers. :)

Let me answer your question as brief and simple as possible... Yes, you are at risk of losing your wins any time when breaching one or more of the relevant terms and conditions referring to the bonus currently at play.

In this particular case I guess you are referring to the rule quoted below:

Irregular Play is deemed when the casino detects unnatural player betting patterns. Irregular play includes, but is not limited to, any one or more of the following types of play:

  • Placing single bets equal to or in excess of 15% of the value of the bonus before the wagering requirements for that bonus have been met.
  • Using the double-up feature to increase bet values.
  • Placing high-value bets with the single intention of increasing your balance, thereafter proceeding to place bets of less than half of the prior bet value, while reasonably not decreasing your bankroll, in order to meet bonus wagering requirements.
  • Even money bets on Sic Bo, craps, baccarat, Wheel of Riches and roulette.
  • Employing a strategy by which high-value bets are placed on any game with play-through contribution weightings less than 30% (any table games, card games, video poker, etc.) and then proceeding to place bets of less than half of the prior average bet value while changing game type to higher-weighted games (slots, casual games, scratch cards, etc).

Whether the casino operator will confiscate your wins or not depends from their own decision, however I you must be in aware of the fact that once you breached the aforementioned rule, they could and most probably would apply the following term:

  1. Any irregular play will result in immediate disqualification from a bonus and the casino reserves the rights to withhold any withdrawals and/or confiscate all winnings. Any repeat offence of irregular play may result in your exclusion, deregistration or suspension from the casino.
