bradztheman
I would like to know your experiences on withdrawals being a new player. I deposited £20 via per by mobile. Withdrawn £300 odd winnings. Was advised it’ll take up 3 days to process (then i may get asked for id which is fine). Do they always ask for id? If so what will they ask for with it being a mobile deposit? If its a mobile deposit my next bill isnt due for another 3 weeks to show the payment had been made and paid to my mobile provider. Surely this wont happen? Are withdrawals always straight forward? Would like to know your experiences, thanks.

Withdrawals aren't straight forward when it comes to depositing using your mobile ill I'm afraid. Now I've never used this method of depositing before however I do believe that you do have to supply proof that the mobile bill has been paid so if your bill isn't due for another 3 weeks it's possible that your withdrawal will be held up. In regards to asking for ID most casinos do, some don't but in my recent experiences at new casinos I'm always being asked. You'll need to supply photo ID if asked like passport or driving licence and a recent utility bill to that shows your address. If i'm ever asked about this method depositing I'll always advise against it but that's just me of course and we're all different so you'll get some different replies I'm sure. Keep us posted on how it goes.
pinnit2015
Accumulated payments of 2k plus will always require KYC if UK, it's their licence condition. People moan that some casinos ask for it upon a 20 quid withdrawal. But thats the casinos own policy should they wish that to be their trigger point. Casinos should also block your access if your identity can't be verified with (72?) hours. But i've found very little who actually do this. Some, like Bet365, will not need you to send in ID etc - they verify you electronically (though still not sure why the rest ask for front of card etc and they don't-unless they do a card check with the bank) As for phone payments - never done them, never will so can't comment on that. Piper89
I know for a fact you will have to wait until the phone bill is paid and proof of this is sent before they will process your withdrawal a friend of mine had been thru it the line they took with him was that paying by phone is infect a line of credit supplied by your net work provider . So sit tight wait on your bill supply a copy don't go logging back in and reverse the win .. cocopop3011
pinnit2015
Exactly - it’s credit. And if the UKGC is eyeing up banning credit cards then this will, and should, fall under the umbrella. Personally that sounds like a whole rigmarole to be paid.

Credit cards and mobile bill payments should absolutely be banned when it comes to gambling I've said it all along whether or not these guidelines will ever change I don't know, I do know that Valdes has tons of complaints regarding mobile deposits so I think that speaks for itself. As part of the review of the regulations it's on the agenda so I wouldn't be surprised if it follows hot on the heels of the bonus ban (well, types) coming into effect in March-ish (last time i heard) (Guardian article on 28th Jan-18) Not meaning to tar everyone with the same brush but the only valid reason i can think that most would want to use this method is because it's credit. If so, issues of responsible gambling etc. Given the poster above has said you need to wait until you pay your bill, there is literally no perk (other than the above) I can think of. cocopop3011
pinnit2015
However...caveat it all with the ethos 'why can't i if i want' State nanny-ism/protecting vulnerable people is a tricky balance Piper89
