Freough1989
Hello everyone, If possible I would really appriciate some help with online casino licence and ownership. Since the cassava and 888 holdings news about them allowing self excluded players to join there sister sites and essentally take people's money with out ever paying out winnings it has made me want to double check any site I have played/play as I don't want to lose money. I do have some closed accounts on different sites. My issue is with unibet/kindred group. I have closed accounts on the uni bet site and Maria casino but I have been playing on stan James and 32 red who are part of the same group. I was told by stan James that even though they are all "run" by kindred/Unibet they all actually have different licences and platforms so if I have a closed account on one it won't affect the others. I find this all so confusing with different sites and different licences it's making me want to stop online gaming. Thank you for any help you can give me
pinnit2015
It is a confusing issue and one which casinos need to be clearer on. Of those casinos only Unibet and Maria i think share the same licence, therefore only these 2 are covered if you SE. Kindred (who are phasing out SJ) 'own' these but, to my knowledge and i may be wrong, SE is based on the licence: 32 Red still have their own, so do SJ and Maria and Unibet share the same (Platinum). So i think what you were told is correct sadly - however much i may disagree/agree with it.

For your convenience, below you will find the relevant licences: Unibet - https://secure.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/PublicRegister/Search/Detail/45322 32Red - https://secure.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/PublicRegister/Search/Detail/39430 Stan James - https://secure.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/PublicRegister/Search/Detail/43062 Obviously, nothing in common between these three licences, so in case you have additional question I believe you should forward these to UKGC directly, simply because no one else is able to provide you with adequate feedback on the matter. Let us know in case you need further assistance. johnson83
