888: Accused of Using Seating Aids

A few days ago i got an email from 888. threating to close my account and to szeizure my funds. They accuse me of using seating script. that i never did. 2nd they said i might have used a hud in snap games. I definatly never did that as well. I never played snap. I dont even know exactly wtf this is. For more details also watch this:

Well Gambledor, I watched your video, I read the notes included in the video, but honestly speaking, I really don't know what to say. I don't play poker at any online casinos, but I do know that any sort of additional software used to play any games are prohibited at all casinos.

 

In your instance, the casino is accusing you of using these softwares, and there's no way of knowing whether what they are accusing you of using are true or not. This is something beyond me to answer.

 

The only possible logical reason that I can think of...is that someone else, probably a hacker, is interfering with your account and gameplay, causing all sorts of 'unexpected' scripts in your gameplay records...thereby making the casino think that you are using external softwares. It's just a wild guess, but it is a possibility.

 

I have seen and read so so many complaints on 888/Cassava casinos, and I myself have avoided from playing at any of their casinos for many years. Perhaps others should do the same too! There are many other better casinos to play at...it just need some browsing into Askgamblers casino reviews here to find which casinos would suit best.

Yep same here I don't play Poker either and I actually don't even know what these aids are they are talking about but what I don't understand is if you weren't playing the game they said you was using the extra software for how can they penalise you for it? 

 

Or am I mis-understanding this?

You did use HoldenManager though? HM1 was banned across many sites, but not sure about HM2.

 

Or are 888 saying you can use HUD in non snap games, but not snap?

To be honest I'm sure if the player had actually checked our review page they wouldn't have played there in the first place!

Sometimes if you are trying to simultaneously to play on different tables or games, the casino might think you are using software. However having your account hacked (or at least trying to) might be another explanation why they want to close your account. Best you ask them what happened exactly, but in the end it`s way better to play elsewhere than at 888, I wouldn`t play there like the other guys

He was using HM - whether 888 view that as a 'permitted' piece of SW is in their ball court.

 

Regardless I would never use any software - you're just asking for trouble. 

 

If this had came from a reputable company, which IMHO 888 are not, I'd probably side more on the casino's side . But as it's 888.com...hmmmm.

 

It is a bit worrying that, and bear on mind only have OP's account of it, casino's can simply roll out generalisms without a detailed response.

it's really weird why places would restrict HUDs, yes it's killing the online poker world, but can they honestly detect it ? no they have to make presumptions about a persons play behaviour, it just drives the whole thing to the most sophisticated databasers and clandestine fish baiting, vs a open playing field where any random person can get on board with it

I am registered on 888poker for more than a year never had any problem with anything Deposit/Withdrawl or something like that.
When play poker don't download some retarded software and you used HM1 so it's your mistake just delete it , apologize and everything is good they still didn't do anything right?
And I believe you that you didn't even play SNAP they probably just found it in general.
