Micasjas
I just signed up to BitStarz Casino because of your recommendation. The only concern I have is when I wanted to deposit I had to fill in my bank account username and password. Has anybody ever done that? What if they save that information and use it to depleat your bankaccount. How save is it to deposit money by filling in your bank account information? Hi and welcome to the forum Are you sure it was asking for your banking password and not the casino password? I would never give out my banking password and I'd be very surprised if the casino was asking you for this dear. Support would be more than happy to help you at the casino, have you asked them? I can't play at BitStarz so I can't answer from personal experience sorry. n
Micasjas
Thank you for your answer. Yes it was my internet bank account username and password. Normally you get redirected but this was on their website. I did ask them and they were very friendly and assured me that the username and password are not kept. But it seems strange to me and eventhough I do believe the person I spoke to, it just doesn't seem right to fill that out.

Well, you can certainly rest assured your details are safe here, this is a certain. But I have to be honest if I wasn't redirected to my banking site I wouldn't haven entered them but that's just me. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
Micasjas
Yes I agree. I am sure too that everything is ok, why else would they offer that type of deposit option but just the word of a servicedesk worker is (in this case) not good enough for me. What if they do keep that information without us knowing. Because you are given the option to save the information and the website gets hacked. Afi4wins
I'm a bit puzzled here... I've registered at Bitstarz too, back in 2016, but I wasn't asked to give out any details on my bank account. I only use Neteller, and Neteller account details were all that I had to give. Are you intending to make deposits via direct bank transfers? Perhaps you should try using e-wallets instead, if your country do have those, I mean.
Micasjas
Yes !!! I was considering that. I do have several E-Wallet accounts but none of them are verified or whatever. I will look info that. Thank you.
Micasjas
One question though have you ever made any withdraws and how was that? I just had my first withdraw from Royal Panda (just a small amount) so no problems but I read too much negative things that I don't really want to spend any more money there. Besides Dutch people can't make an account right now so I can imagine when winning big they all of a sudden throw the new rules in your face to get out of paying. LeoDubbed
When playing online, I recommend to use e-wallet or paysafecard to play it safely. I am sure BitStarz will not use your banking info but if you doubt, don't do it. BitStarz pays quite fast if you ask me. I got my money within an hour (e-wallet). That's odd because I still able to play, of course I've been a member for over a year but when a country is restricted they should close my account. I now have a few casinos that restrict new players from my country to sign up at their casinos, but because I'm already a member before that new regulation came into play, my accounts are still open and active...but I wouldn't dare make any deposits now due to the new restrictions. Don't wanna end up with rejected withdrawals, hehehe.

I'm not entirely sure what page you're on here, but we are not asking and have never asked anyone for username and password for your bank, so perhaps you're misinterpreting something here. We do ask for you to fill in your player profile, but that has nothing to do with your bank credentials in any way. Perhaps you want to PM a screenshot to me with what screen you're on so I can help you further, alternatively, give support a ping via live chat, they're available 24/7 Kindest Regards, Olle, BitStarz ValDes, cocopop3011 and Micasjas

My first reply did suggest that maybe the player had mistaken the request for online banking details for something else but the OP did insist it was definitely those details the site asked for. @Micasjas - It would be great if you could just repeat the same steps so it takes you to the page where it asks you for the said details and take a screenshot and PM it as requested, just so we could clear this up. Let me know if you need any help with those steps. Micasjas

And like you said. I don't want to deposit money, win and than have them throw the new regulations in my face so they won't have to pay out. Give me a little time though because I am not sure where to do so. Sorry. I did speak to livechat and the person just said my bank account username and password would not be stored. So that makes me assume she understood what webpage I was refering too.
Micasjas
I just send Olle a message because I really don't know how to send a printscreen. I checked again and it definitely is your internet banking information. It says in small print at the bottom that it is offered by Trustly Group AB and not your bank and that they basically will send the login information to the bank. I know Trustly is uhm... trustworthy but it just struck me as odd to fill out that information not being your own bank environment so they can send it to my bank. Hi there, I'm quite confused here once more, we do not ask for and have never asked for your login details to your bank. Are you using a PC or a Mac? I'd be happy to give you instructions how to make a prinscreen, but kindly note that a quick google search also could solve that very quickly Olle

Hi there and welcome to AskGamblers. Detailed instructions regarding how to attach screenshots at the forum could be found here. Make sure to hide or mask any sensitive personal information on your uploads. As for your concerns regarding the payment procedures in BitStarz, well, honestly I am starting to believe it's more about your lack of knowledge and experience dealing with online payments system rather than any security issues. Micasjas
Hi there and welcome to AskGamblers. As for your concerns regarding the payment procedures in BitStarz, well, honestly I am starting to believe it's more about your lack of knowledge and experience dealing with online payments system rather than any security issues. Thank you for that link. Maybe that is the case, that I don't know a lot about online payment systems FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES if I knew why would I ask? In the Netherlands you just don't give out your bank user name and password. Very simple. And when it comes to online payment systems every casino I played so far, when I wanted to deposit money from my bank account I would choose which bank and that would open the apporpriate bank webpage inside that bank domain. I have never seen an online payment system that lets you fill in that information within their own domain their own website.
ValDes
Well, this is not quite the case I'm afraid... For example, I am using mostly e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller to fund my online gambling and must tell you that the transaction interface window when ordering the deposit is opened WITHIN the casino domain interface probably 9 out of every 10 different operators. Still, it's secured by ssl/https and I never ever worried about it since casino is not able to see/copy/steal a thing of the info within that frame anyways. In my humble opinion, your case is referring to the same matter and you'd better send the requested screenshot to the BitStarz reps here and let them explain better than me you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
