Why do some gaming sites act like we all want a DJ playing in the background?

Even with games like Crazy 777, I'd rather have separate controls for background music and sound effects.

What about you lot — sound ON, everything MUTED, or just the music OFF?

And should websites start muted by default?

Some games are more enjoyable with their beautiful soundtrack, but most are simply nyaaah!

I play with muted sound most of the time!
