Beginners Help

Hi All! 

 

I am new here but not new to the world of gambling. I come from the line of matched betting for the past 9 years. I have dipped into freebies and low risk casino stuff eg 100% cashback offers. I am yet to delve into it fully though. My husband made 30k 10 years ago when things were well peachy in gambling land. So I am late to the party!I have just done with having babies and am back to finding my feet and making some more pocket money! Soooo ... I have read the basics on how do to this and house edge etc. I am basically looking how to take this forward. Especially now the casinos have say the likes of roulette etc as only being 20% of the WR for a bonus! Is there still a lot of money to be made or is this basically dead in the water now? Sorry to ask such basic stuff. I know that can irritate some! I did look for a beginers thread/guide on here but couldn't see one so I suspect this is more for professionals. If i'm in the wrong place and there are better forums out there please do send me that way!

Hi Betting_Becki and welcome to the forum. Just a few things I wanted to say really before everyone else replies. 

 

Firstly, what you've asked isn't irritating at all, please feel free to ask us anything. (Well, almost anything  )

 

What games exactly are you looking to play? Roulette as you mentioned or you thinking of trying slots?

 

Lastly, from reading your post I'm slightly worried that you think you are going to make a profit from this. I can't say you will or won't, actually no one can I just always worry when I see people going in to this for that very reason. You should really be going in to this not expecting to win because otherwise you will be sorely disappointed when you lose, which will happen. There will be times you win of course but just don't think you're going to win £30k like your partner, chances are that won't happen.

 

Not to put you off at all because it is a lot of fun and as I said there are times you win which is always a bonus 

 

But would be great if you could just tell us exactly what kind of games you are looking to play.

 

Oh and 1 more thing I definitely couldn't miss mentioning is that you said you're done making babies    Mind me asking how many you have? I have 3 but would love one more but that's a whole different thread

There are no strategies that can help you win dear. I mean there are plenty that people have but none of them are a get rich quick scheme. If your planning on going in on a strategy I'd give up before you even start!

Hi guys! First let me say hello as I am new to the forum and the online gambling in general. Not sure if I should post this in here, but "Beginners Help" sounds suitable

So I mainly play for fun, not profit, but so far I've been too cautious with online casinos. Please advise on where to start or some suggestions on actual casinos (I will read the topics, it's just that I don't know where to start). Thanks

Although totally agree gambling is supposed to be for fun, there are some very very very rare exception from the general rule though... Remember all the fellow gamblers who won some of the insane progressive jackpots.
