Asian-based Casinos

Recommended Posts

We all know that certain online casinos are meant for local domestic use only. European countries have their many casinos that accept only residents from that country, or from neighbouring countries as well.

Then there are also certain Asian-based casinos that have gone global and accepts customers from numerous countries, and vice versa too for certain European casinos having bases in Asia.

Recently, I have begun playing at a few local online casinos, Asian-based of course, that accepts only customers from a few neighbouring Asian countries. I've become quite familiar with these few casinos by now, and the casinos with me too, hehehe, so I was wondering if I could post specific topics on these few casinos here in Askgamblers, for the benefit of other Asian AG members, even though the casinos themselves are not listed with Askgamblers.

Would be nice if I could...would be okay if I couldn't...but I wouldn't know if I didn't ask, right? Hehehe.  :D

Did you really need to ask dear? Of course, you know the rules casinos can be discussed just no links  :p  which I know you'd never do anyway  :p  Look forward to reading the posts.

Well, sometimes I think I know...sometimes I think I may not know...

so better to ask and be sure!  :p

Thanks for the clarification Sharon darling.  ^_^

Let me start off with my first encounter with an Asian-based online casino...it's a locally based casino, so all I need to do is to sign up, fill in my particulars, fill in my bank account details, and I'm all set to go. No KYC procedure needed! That's a relief, hehehe.

After using up my free no-deposit MYR50, I decided to make a deposit and claim the 100% welcome bonus. Bonus offers are never as good as at European casinos, and their Reload Bonuses are literally next to nothing...2% up to 10% only...aaaargh...so I never bothered to take them up. Just not worth it.  :p

So I clicked on the 'Deposit' button, and a form came up. For locals, all deposit/withdrawal transactions are via bank transfers, but credit cards and ewallets can be used too. Since the currency used within the casino is the local currency, I find no necessity at all to use my Neteller, which would only incur Exchange fees for nothing! So I filled in the details of my deposit, clicked the submit button, a successful deposit message popped up, and I waited for the money to be credited into my account. This was my very first time using such an online deposit form and I was completely unfamiliar with it!

After waiting for 5 minutes or so, and still nothing in my account, I then clicked on Live Chat to get assistance. I told her how much I've deposited, but still nothing in my account. She checked on her side, then came back and told me, "Sir, we have not received your deposit. Are you sure you have made a deposit Sir?"

I was puzzled. "Yes, I am very sure of it. I can even show a screenshot of the successful deposit message", I told her. I then copied and pasted that screenshot into the chat box for her to see. After several questioning and answering ding-dongs, she finally told me, "Sir, what you have submitted is only the deposit form. You must go to your bank and make a deposit, or do an online bank transfer first".

Whaaaat???!!! :shok: Oh my god! I was so embarrassed!!!    :p

I thought that by submitting that deposit form, the money would be automatically deducted from my bank account...NOSIRREE! It doesn't work that way! Hahaha. After realising my stupid mistake, I told her I'll be back later, then I logged out.

For all local online casinos, I need to go to my bank, make a deposit, either by using the bank's online transfer service, or by using the CDM (Cash Deposit Machine). I used the CDM as it was more easier and more convenient. I then went back home, took a photo of the bank-in slip and then log into the casino again. That sweet lady was still around, so I repeated the same thing all over again, and also uploaded the copy of the bank-in slip. My money got in within 2 or 3 minutes later. "Thank you Sweetie!" I told her. Hahaha.

From thereon, I became familiar with this 'strange' depositing way, and never faced any other problems after that. In fact, I don't even need to use the Live Chat service after submitting that deposit form - the money would be automatically credited in within a few minutes (for checking up time on the casino's side). By now, I'm already an expert at depositing! Hahaha.

Wish you could have became an expert at withdrawing rather than depositing, but what the heck, some knowledge based on solid experience is always welcome. ;)

Curious to know though if you had any really big hit in some of these Asia-based operators?

Well, my biggest hit so far was at this first Asian casino that I joined...getting those 5 Scatters 3 times on ISIS, and withdrawing MYR1300, which was paid the very next morning. I made the withdrawal in the wee hours of the morning, so bank transfers couldn't be transacted then, otherwise, withdrawals would only take a few minutes...1 hour max.  ^_^

Don't know about credit cards or Neteller though.  :p

Deposit Bonuses + Reload Bonuses

The few Asian casinos that I have joined and played doesn't have good interesting Deposit Bonuses at all. Usually, only the the first deposit would get a 100%, 150% or rarely a 200% bonus, as a welcome bonus for new customers. Wagering is usually set at 15x deposit+bonus.

After that, there's only the Reload Bonuses, which to me, are just not worth taking up! These are usually around 2% up to 10%, with very low wagering of up to 5x deposit+bonus. However, this seems to be quite popular with local players. Very strange indeed! Hahaha. Maybe they have never seen the bonuses from European casinos yet!!!  :D

For my second and thereafter deposits, I would only play without taking any Reload Bonuses.

No restrictions for quick getaways when I do make a win...although only a very few times so far.  :D

Reload bonuses 2% - 10% what is the actual point!!! Even with a 5x wager there's just no point. It could never be of interest to me since I'm a low depositor but I struggle to see the benefits even for higher deposits really.

Exactly, Sharon darling...but to local players who have never seen any European casinos, they don't know that! Anything extra is good to them. :p

However, I've done more searching around and have since found other casinos that are offering 20% up to 50% Reload bonuses, which are at par with the European casinos. But I still don't like the range of games that they have...Playtech and BetSoft platforms are standard items, one platform that mixes NetEnt, GamesOS and a few Microgaming games, plus one more platform that consists of only Asian games. This is where you can find one or two of those 'very hot' Japanese games, hehehe.

Unlike European casinos that integrate all the different provider games onto one single platform, Asian-based casinos are still using separated individual platforms. So, if you want to play Playtech games, you have to click on the Playtech Suite platform to access all the playtech games. Wastes quite a lot of time in the navigation of those platforms, but I guess one day they may use a single platform instead.

A sample of the different platforms used by Asian-based casinos...

and there are currently only 2 casinos that has a Microgaming platform...

very sad indeed...not enough choices for me to play at...  :(

This casino has the most Microgaming games as compared to the other casino...

but is still way behind from being complete...there's only about 150 games in the list.

Out of the 150 how many would you play approx?

How many of that 150 Microgaming games I would play?

Hmmm...let me check and count all of them...

...if including those games that I had played just once or twice...the total number would be...hmmm...7 in all!  :p

Regular play was Supe It up and Break Da Bank Again...but BDBA broke me, so I broke it and threw it into my freezer! <_<

Avalon II, Spring Break, Ladies Nite and The Rat Pack...played only a few times...lost...won't play it again!

Immortal Romance...tried just a few spins...not even one blardy small lousy win...won't ever play again!

All the other games, most probably I won't play them either...not to my liking, hehehe.

Any casino I visit now, Asian or European, I look for Supe It up, Beach Babes or Isis. Won't touch any other MG games.

Ooops...forgot...The Finer Reels of Life...got the same treatment as for Break Da Bank Again!

Ooops...forgot again...  :D

Beach Babes is not available at all at any Asian casino...Isis was available at the first casino, but now no more MG platform, so no more Isis anywhere...only Supe It Up is available at both casinos...so...I've got only one game to play at either casino.  <_<

Tonight is my forgetting night...hahahaha...

I won't play any Playtech games either...all eating badly...as I have already suspected before playing them!

Playtech isn't like before at all now!

Hmm, have you noticed this one?

In my humble opinion, these are the logos for some of the NetEnt most famous slots - Flowers and Subtopia, but the name of the provider is totally unknown to me?

Yes mate...indeed I have noticed that!

That First Suite has only about 3 or 4 NetEnt games, mixed with other providers games, including Playtech's and MG's games too...so it's not a specific provider's platform...and so I always avoid playing those games...for obvious reasons! Hahaha.  :D

That's the BIG difference between European regulated casinos and Asian regulated casinos...if you know what I mean!  :p

Yes, I guess I know what do you mean, unfortunately... Which explains why this particular section has never been named accordingly, but assigned this ridiculous 1st Suite name... :(

Maybe it means 'first-time-players suite'...for new players who don't know the difference...until they get stung! Hahaha.

Yes I noticed too then when I seen the provider 1SGames I actually thought they had copied some of NetEnt's graphics  :p

Today is another cloudy day over at my place, but it is still heaty...hope it gets cooler later on.

But today is another day to cheer me up. Why? Because of this...

YAAAAY!!! I guess those people at this one particular Asian-based casino listened to my complaints and brought Microgaming's platform back! Yaaaay! I had told them "no MG games, no deposits from me"...and I did not make any deposits at all for almost 2 months...but I played on their no-deposit MYR50 they offered to me to try out their new BetSoft platform. I told them, "BetSoft? I don't like them at all!" "Playtech? Just as bad!" Hahaha.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't even be happy at all about all these things if this was happening last year, because Microgaming games meant nothing much to me then...but not now...hehehe. So I quickly browsed through the new platform...it now has more games included, 104 in total, but still not a lot, and included in are some newer MG games like Lost Vegas, Tarzan, Jungle Jim, etc, but ISIS is gone (I can understand why, hahaha), The Finer Reels of Life is gone (I complained like hhell to them on this game!), but Supe It Up is still there. "No Supe It Up, no deposits from me either" I had told them, hahaha.

My next personal project...to scrutinise and see what sort of 'major upgrades' had been done onto my favourite game! Hopefully...NONE!!!  :D

Good luck and will be waiting to see here yet another awesome streak of hot winner  screenshots from you! :good:

Thank you mate!  :hi:

I'll give my favourite games some good bashings next month...this month has reached the end of the road for me...  :p

I've just had a good look into the various MG games available...and guess what?

I was completely wrong!  :(

I found ISIS...now it's the Mega Moolah Isis...complete with its Jackpot...and I found the other missing games too...

some here...some there...some everywhere...just like at a MacDonald' farm...ee-ya-ee-ya-oh...hahaha

in fact this new MG platform has over 500 games, including table games, scratchcards, video poker...the lot!

So I'll never be able to use my excuse of "I cannot find my favourite game here"...hahaha.  :D

Yippee!! Is this the particular casino we talked about in the other thread that said they weren't coming back or is this a different one?
