No, this isn't about Donald Trump and climate change. Its about the trend I have experience the last few months of a cooling down of casinos EVERYWHERE! Definitely not a warming, its the opposite unfortunately.

I know its probably just me, but seriously online I play at two major casinos, and I just can't seem to win anymore. I do everything right, keep on depositing, play forever, when its hot keep going, when its cold RUN AWAY, and....I never hit any big wins anymore. I work so hard for a x100 win, and can't seem to find any x500-x1000 anymore. I fight to get back to my starting deposit, never up more than 10-30%. No big wins, unless I am so far down I end up barely breaking even (if I'm VERY lucky).

I even tried land based casinos in 3 countries, from America to Cambodia to the Philippines! And somehow managed to loose money in all of them. All in the last few months.

I went to a Hard Rock casino in Florida a few weeks ago, and lost around $2000 US in 4 hours on slots! And everyone around me was also loosing, free games were hard to come by and when they won, as when I won, the free spins were paying around 20x bet best case, on a 1.72 USD bet every few seconds. With it costing around $150-$200 to get a free game, the math didn't work out very well.

All I have been playing is slots. I thought maybe it was a bad streak online, so went brick and mortar. Same experience there as well. Online the main providers I play are Amatic, Endorphina, and BetSoft. I am not in a NetEnt zone unfortunately.

Perhaps its just not my time to win.

I am curious if there are global trends, possible seasonal, related to return to player payouts. Probable not the case, but wondering if anyone else experience a similar cold spell November - January 2017.

Maybe my losses are fueling your wins, and its just my lack of good luck the last few months.

I appreciate any feedback.

Sometimes the games are dead, why that is also a riddle to me. Playing slots is just about luck. However, there are plenty of casinos that offer loyalty points feature where you can redeem them, some of them are real cash and some are bonus cash. For example, CasinoLuck, NextCasino, WildSlots, these casinos are offering loyalty points that can be redeemed into real cash.

Rizk offers free spin of their Wheel of Rizk every time you level up, prizes are various from free spins with no wagering, cash prize, race points etc and LuckyDino casino has the same feature.

Checking the game about their RTP (return to player) is also a good thing to do before playing them.

I feel sorry for you for losing a great amount of money but that's gambling, you win some you lose...well, more than you win I guess.

Thanks for replying and for the feedback, appreciate it. It seems like bonus money/points are the way to go to sustain playing without loosing too much all the time. The only draw back is the challenge in earning the bonus and taking the winnings out depending on the play through requirements. But its better to fight for a bonus and loose it then to loose real money. My luck seems to result in my biggest wins being on bonus funds for some unknown reason. Usually on cash I win far less. I am sure that can't be by design (I sure hope not at least).

I also seem to do much worse on weekends, and better on weekdays (Monday-Thursday). Probably just a random trend that means nothing, but it seems consistent.

If anyone has noticed trends about days/seasons etc I would love to know what you have found.

You are not alone my friend. Trust me this is somethng every one goes through, IMO it wouldn't be normal if we didn't. This particular quote is basically me at the moment struggle for a 100x win when going back a few years ago these came in thick and fast.

It's just a dose of bad luck mate I'm sure it will turn around again however if you feel you're at a loss then why not take a break for a while, I often do this. If I feel I'm just throwing my money away I have a break, there's no shame in that.

I can only speak for Amatic. Which casinos do you usually play in? What I noticed in most Amatic casinos is that you win on your first few deposits and go on a long dry streak after that. For winning on certain days, I have won big in a few casinos usually on Mondays which is really weird as I win big on Mercur slots during the weekend. So far the biggest payouts on Amatic slots for me have come from Adler casino. The payouts there were much bigger compared to all other Amatic casinos combined.

I know that some people believe in them, I know that some people don't even believe in them,

and I also do know that some people cannot live without them. Believe in what you may ask?

Believe that each individual luck varies from person to person...

that luck doesn't stay the same every minute, every hour, every day...

that luck behaves in waves, just as the sea water does, or like every other transmitting wave does...

that each wave can be very small or short for one person, or very big or prolonged for another...

Losses happen when we gamble when the wave is down...

Wins happen when we gamble when the wave is up...

but no one can know exactly when the wave is up or down...

hence some find it luckier during weekends, others on weekdays...

but these too will change in time, depending on the waves, from weekends into weekdays, and vice versa. ^_^

Thanks for all of the feedback. Just lost another round...I think it is time as CoCo said to take a break :)

Hajnrih I have been playing Amatic and Endorphina at BitStarz. I just can't seem to win. I know you understand the feeling when you start out by loosing and never can make it back to where you started, each win just small enough to keep you below the starting point, free spins paying 20-40x bet at most. I have focused a lot on Lucky Coin, Billyonaire, Diamond Monkey, Diamonds Wild, and some Game Art that never seem to pay lately.

I did try one other softswiss casino, Oshi, and lost in a free fall there. Not their fault of course, just bad luck.

Well I did have a good run until 3 months ago, I think it may be time to retire for a few weeks or months...

Do you think the odds vary at different casinos, even though it is the same game provider? I am under the impression (maybe false) that if you play an Amatic game on any of them at a given moment, the odds would be identical. Maybe its affected by the volume of play at that casino at that moment on all Amatic games? It sure would be nice to understand this fully, but maybe not possible.

I will check Adler casino that you mentioned.

Globalgamer, if your luck is in low tide, it would not make any difference which casino you play at, or what time of day or night it is.  :p

Look at me, for example, for the whole of 2016, my luck has been on low tide ever since! Now that is one incredibly long dry period, one which I have never encountered before, but I did get a 'dream' that it would be so, about a month before it started happening.

Now, after my latest dream, I'm just waiting to be 'taken back in time'...don't know when, don't know what it'll be either, but it definitely won't be like the year 2016 for me. Just have to wait and see.

But anyway, my circumstances may be way different from anybody else's I guess, but good luck to you mate!  ^_^

I feel sorry about it mate. Anyway this is the reality and I don't counter the fact that it's wrong because of the casinos algorithms and also they're "business" meaning that they must gain some profit to continue their business. Also if you observed the winners of slot jackpots or casino jackpots or if you compare the lucky winners that take home a huge payout does this means that from their perspective they're just lucky but in fact it was result of a random computation (algorithm) of the game.

For my humble opinion that's why it's best to play casino if there are many players because of the random chances. Have you ever heard the games of bitcoins casino? They said that they're a provably fair and you can see the ticket of the result will you believe that if you compare the transparency of the bitcoin games from the casinos does this makes any difference? This is complex for me and the best thing that I can do to minimize the losses is I limit what I afford to lose.

I also for my opinion I prefer to play the online casinos like RTG casinos because of the many benefits. I'm not that huge wager the only thing that makes me a huge wager is the online bonuses. Nex time I hope that the odds may be in your favor mate!

Bitstarz has the lowest payouts I have ever seen in my life. It's impossible to win there on Amatic games. Oshi so so. Billy is ok the rest are *****. Play the books, Diamond Cats, Casanova, games with high variance but great bonus rounds and payouts.

After all these years of gambling online, I kinda 'feel' when the bad streak is coming and unfortunately, my guts are telling me I might have already started one. :( What about the signs someone might ask... Well, the signs are all there - none of my favorite games would ever give a decent win back despite how hard I try and how many deposits I did and how many sessions I did and what bets I used... Take the new HTML5 Dead Or Alive for example, everyone here knows this game was extremely good to me for years and yet, I'm still to hit my first wild line from over 50,000 spins and close to 300 free spins feature! :o The same aplies to my favorite slots from Amatic, Microgaming etc etc...

The bottom line is to learn to read the signs and to adjust your gambling accordingly as soon you get there, in the middle of the bad streak. What I have already did is to limit my bets drastically and thus decreasing the damage the dry period will cause to my gambling budget. Somehow I know this time it will be a long and painful one, but you know what they are saying right, every cloud has a silver lining and soon /I hope :D/ Lady Luck will land on my shoulder once again... Exactly as she done it so many times before.  B)

I did hear about bitcoin games, but haven't tried it. Have you? I would like to know how it goes for anyone who has tried it. Sometimes I wonder about Amatic. I play them so much and they seem to be so much harder than ever before to get a free game, and when you do they pay maybe 10x bet. I played heavy the last 5 days, countless free games. Out of maybe 30 free Amatic games, 3-4 paid out okay. And it costs so much to get the free games its almost impossible to be up. Betsoft doesn't seem much better. Endorphina also very poor payouts on free games lately. My sampling is over maybe 20 free games with Endorphina in the last 5 days and average payout around 10x-20x bet.

Thanks for your feedback. I may resort to lottery tickets soon :)

I am with you on the luck lately, favorite games payout out horribly. What concerns me is when I watch the winnings of others while I play (bitstarz shows other players wins in close to real time) it doesn't look like anyone is winning very big.

I want to believe its just me, that helps, since if the providers themselves went cold that would really be awful!

Do you think it varies by casino? I thought if you played Amatic for example, or Betsoft, or whatever game, it would be totally based on the game provider and not the casino. But I did try Oshi and had the coldest experience of my life. Well, now Bitstarz is also very cold from my perspective. They are both on the Softswiss platform, maybe it has something to do with the platform?

I am looking for a new casino to at least try but my options are very limited. I need a casino that takes bitcoin to make deposits and withdrawals easy. It seems like most of them are all Softswiss, I can't seem to find a certified casino by this site (ask gamblers) that takes bitcoin and that is not part of softswiss. Nothing against them but since my bad luck run is tied to them so far I would sure like to try another casino powered by some other platform.

One thought about bad luck streaks...

If there really is such a thing, why is it that when my wife plays using her computer, using my casino account....that she also can't seem to win?

Do bad luck streaks affect an entire family? Or do they affect a casino account?

Or it is a similar to a curse that affects everything that is related to me financially including gambling by spouse that I am financing?

Aaaah...you're asking the million-dollar questions there mate!  :p

Nobody can be certain of anything when it comes to bad luck, or Lady Luck for that matter. In your wife's case, I would suggest she plays using her own account but funded by you, because her luck may be different from yours, her luck cycles would definitely be different from yours, but when she plays with your account, she is riding on your bad luck. For example, you borrow a friend's car that your friend knows has many problems...and you'd get those problems too driving that car! Or you hitch a ride in a friend's car, but your friend has regular bad luck in driving, so whatever bad luck he gets whilst driving, you're in the same car to get that too. Makes sense?  :p

Imagine a pilot's risk. If he dies at the cockpit whilst flying, because of his bad luck, or his time is up, or whatever, all passengers and crew in that plane may die with him too, if not for the compulsory presence of a co-pilot!

The way I see it, bad luck or good luck is strictly individual, but can affect anyone who is 'riding' along with it. This does not relate to casinos of course. Casinos don't have bad luck or good luck. They run and operate by wire, so everything depends on what and how those wires are set to perform. They do not alter each individual player's luck.  :p

A curse? Now that is a totally different spiritual story altogether mate!  ;)

I'd say it affects accounts. Make a new account on new ip and name you'll have winnings on the first few deposits in every casino. Of course that's not allowed and if they catch you you can kiss your winnings good bye, so I don't recommend it :p Or back me up with 1k and well split the profits :D

You are definitely on to something Hajnrih. Sure seems beginners luck affects new accounts at a new casino. In fact I have seen that happen every time I have opened a new account with one exception - I won't mention their name since its hard to blame them for that.

So either it truly is beginners luck or there is a higher RTP for new players, which means there could be a lower RTP for old players, which I hate to think is true :(

I think its all roll of the dice to be honest but you can choose a good place to be usually I find if its got a good reputation , is audited by something like E-Cogra , plenty of people play there and make the Rng Run hot on games (and you can see the rtp in real time highly unlikely but on betat you can see it) , and in expereience it varies some places i've played ....at .. tend to have bad runs after the first 3 cashouts ...others will be magically stable and stay that way "somehow" good to keep a win:loss ratio ...ok ill stop there before raverbabe slaps me about :) ....its all random raver I swear lol .

This goes for Amatic casinos only. All Amatic casinos. I'm taking a break from gambling now since I have a few other jobs working online, but when I get back there's gonna be blood in Amatic casinos :D

Every time when I said that it ends up like a real massacre... for my gambling budget of course. :p Hope you will set a precedent though and make them pay for the suffering! :D

Go, hajnrih, go! :good:
