rich22284
I hope I can raise a deeply concerning issue I have. I feel the current online world of Casinos need a new law introduced asap. What they are doing at the moment is morally indefensible. It is to do with the bonus terms / max bet. If you accept any form of bonus, then deeply embedded in the terms and conditions it states that the max bet per spin is £10. Most people do not read these. Not only does the software allow you break the bonus terms, it then allows you to spend hours/days/weeks of your life playing, thinking you are doing well. It then even allows you to withdraw the money saying it will hit your account in a few days, making you think it is all fine. A few days later however, you then receive an email saying all winnings are void as the bonus t&c's were broken. Your initial deposit is returned - and any winnings above that are voided. I hope you agree it’s not right morally. I have emailed the gambling commission for a new law be considered whereby when on any bonus, the casinos must warn you or even better the software does not allow you to bet more than £10 per bet so the terms are not broken. I would like to raise a petition as this is ruining peoples lives and I truly believe it is causing deep distress for many people. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, R

Thanks, R IMO There's absolutely no way you can get this enforced to start with you'd need to appeal to each and every gambling commission there's just no way a petition would ever work! I totally get where you're coming from it's a massive issue with so many players but then again if players read the terms it wouldn't be an issue. I know you mean well but I think you're wasting your time.

Thanks, R Just a quick question, hope you don't mind... You are going to raise a petition in front of the same Gambling Commission which as a matter of fact approved the same bonus terms which you find as ''deeply embedded'' and did not requested from their licensees to implement some software tool to prevent their players breaking that max bonus rule? You may consider the above as a rhetorical question ... Welcome to AskGamblers though. MacdoniS

Just to quickly touch on this sentence, there is actually a casino that will be implementing this in the future as it was discussed at the forum just a few weeks ago. Trada Casino wasn't it Val? Trada Casino wasn't it Val? Yep, that's right... However, I could remember for at least a dozen other operators with great reputation who declared such intentions in the past and yet, nothing similar happened, unfortunately... Sincerely hope Trada would be the first to stick to their promises and set a new industry standard for players protection when it comes to accidental max bet breach. cocopop3011 and Conor@Trada
rich22284
Thanks for your replies guys. Trada sound like they have the right idea and should market themselves as being different to highlight the issue. Think they would win a lot of business. Yep I agree, I think Trada really would be setting the bar if they are able to implement this. I actually think once one casino does it others will surely follow. MacdoniS
My opinion about this is that I think it's us the players who needs to adjust and not the casinos. You know mate, casinos know there business very well and if this is the majority of the people who favors this kind of settings I think the casinos will make a way so they attract many players? What do you think?
