Bonus Bet, Super Bet, Extra Bet - Is it worth it?

Lots of games, for example Koi Princess and Merlins Millions, have the option of placing a "Bonus Bet" (or "Super Bet") alongside your regular wager. I've been experimenting playing the games with and without the additional bet and so far have come to the conclusion that it's nothing short of a con!

 

On NetEnt's "Koi Princess" in particular, the game promises to add additional high paying symbols to the reels, and a greater chance of big payouts from the bonus round. It's not guaranteed though and whilst I'm sure I've just been unlucky I haven't seen any benefit when I've reached the bonus wheel with the SuperBet on - just the opposite infact, the prizes have been lower! 

 

So my question is, do you use this option ? And on which games? Do you think it's a fair bet?

There were times when i trigger the feature on very first spin and trigger the feature 3 - 4 times within 25 spins, then there were days where it took almost 100 spin to get the feature once, but if you hit the feature, just continue to play as it will trigger a few spins later again returning your losses.

 

- Superbet on certain games are good and on others bad

 

- Superbet on Foxin Wins, A Dragons story, Judge Dredd are worth it and you always see your money returned for sure - This i can guarantee as you will see that super bet  feature popping up extra wilds onto the screen all the time. Besides if you access the free spins feature on these 3 games, you definitely want to have the super bet active and they are not that expensive.

 

- Superbet on Merlin Millions, Spin Sorceres are a waste for me, and i never benefits as the feature to trigger the superbet does not happen often and its expensive.

 

- Robin Hood Prince of Tweet ( Superbet is expensive ) but for the free spins feature worth it.

 

- Miss Midas - Superbet is reasonable and worth it for free spins, but triggering free spins can take forever on this slot.

 

Double Play Superbet - Superbet is reasonable/expensive-ish, but for free spins where you initial wild multiplier doubles up is amazing.

I'd actually forgotton about Robin Hood    (Baby brain) This is the only game when I've don'e superbet and thought I'd benefit from it and you are absolutely right it's great in free spins. However the only thing good about this game anyway is free spins I found the wins on the line are very poor.

I thought let me mention the Robin Hood game since you crushed wagering with it the other day and made a nice withdrawal.

 

I play at $0.02 for the base game, which i think is $1 per spin and additional $1 for super bet, which makes it $2 in total per spin.

Nope and i never will, unless some casino gives me 2000% bonus on my deposit. I am even scared to play foxin wins without super bet.

If a game has a super bet option, use it! They are designed to pay big only with the super bet activated. Wild West, Miss Midas and several others are my regulars with the super bet at max. Merlin's millions is crappy on payouts either way, but Merlin's Magic respins on the other hand WOW. Try that game with super bet at max in fun play and you'll see what she can do

Sounds like I've just been playing the wrong games then, I didn't even notice the superbet on Foxin' Wins, I blew through a whole first deposit on that game recently as it was super generous to me at the beginning.. bled me dry in the end though! I'll try it and report back!

Play 50 spins on Wild West on minimum bet without the super bet on, then set it at max and play another 20-30 on the $0.50 minimum. Should get a bonus round or few if he wants to pay. If nothing hits up to 100 spins run

5 wilds is x2000 yout bet line. So if you bet 5 euro its gonna be 0.10 euro per line x 2000 , those amount are just for the bonus round wins.

So, £200.00 for a line of wilds when betting £5 per spin.. plus a few other wins I expect from paylines that include those wilds. Not mind blowing but certainly not bad! And how does the superbet fit into that? Do you get more wilds on the reels, higher payouts...?

I guessed there would be some extra wilds as I've had the random ones but not very often... it looks like there's a fair bit more potential for big wins with the superbet then although the result of that video isn't exactly inspiring. Youtube videos should be reserved for 250x bet plus i think

Not my video, just to show you more or less what superbet does. Wilds pop up in about 7/10 spins on average and on a good day, 10 spins after each other, with 2 empty spins and then again. So its up to you.
