Were your personal or financial details sent to another player? Have you already taken the issue up with the casino in question?

First of all, hello and welcome to the AskGamblers Forum.

Now straight to the point... I don't really think you will be offered any compensation, so kinda weird discussing what that compensation could be.

The main piece of legislation covering your issue is called Data Protection Act. You can read all about it here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_Protection_Act_1998

Most gambling companies are attaching the so called disclaimer at the bottom of their emails and thus, protecting themselves in case of unintentional errors, which I believe was the case you described. Strongly encourage you check that prior discussing further.

Well reason I have said that about compensation as there manager from operations team that was the one mentioned it. So I was guessing that's what it will be I don not see how a company can give out all your info and what your complaint was about. To another player MAJOR ERROR and get away Scott free when it has potential to cause me major hassle this is what data protection about if shoe on other foot I sent personal info shore be very very different . I already rang up legal people they have already said u have a case straight away as soon as data protection was broken

Also if some one else has my info they fall out with that company I could be exposed in ways that I should been protected so I beleive there has be a major correction and u r the only person I have heard say different no offence

Sure, that's point of the forums in general, hearing different opinions. I just gave you mine and shared my point of view, that's all.

Wish you luck with your potential claims though. Keep us updated where possible.
