Registering with any casino

Tried to Register at a few casinos recently and because I do not own a mobile phone (I hate them) they will not accept Registration. So very annoying.

@oldernotwiser You don't need a smartphone to play or register at online casinos - simply register using a browser on a pc or laptop, that should work.

Maybe you're not trying at the right casinos - crypto casinos usually require mobile transactions so look for normal fiat currency casinos instead.

I'm already with Mr Vegas and Videoslots, have been for years. I wanted to try a couple of others - Los Vegas and I forget the other, may have been Betfair. As soon as I entered my ordinary phone number I couldn't proceed because the number was 'not recognised'.

you can ask a family member or friend to use their mobile number.

If you can still use your old phone to make calls, that could mean the area code has changed - find out what's the new code is then use it before your number.

Using someone else's mobile phone number and then the Casino send them a text. Not a good idea.

Getting a phone number isn't that complicated. If you don't have a personal phone number, you can use the number of a trusted friend. It is rare for a casino to contact you by phone. most online casinos communicate with players via email.

I’d avoid borrowing a friend’s number. It solves today’s form and can create a much messier problem when a withdrawal or account recovery triggers an SMS check. Better to ask support, in writing, whether they accept a landline or a non-SMS verification route. If the answer is no, I’d leave it there.
