Flatzem888 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago feedback about Ice Vacation; before I start I will say I knew that cause of the slot name that guy with a similar name would get some mega win on this and he got it on the first day yet if it was called Vegas Vacation that would not be the case at all, anyway let's start with the good, the mystery symbols when they land can reward a big win and they are fun especially when they are sticky during the free spins feature. Then you just wait to get more of them and for higher paying symbols to show up in them or even those golden shells which if combined with a multiplier could pay 10000x. Getting 10 free spins for 3 scatters is ok but you would get 12 free spins for 4 scatters and 15 for 5 scatters but what would the chance of getting a natural 5 scatter trigger in thousands to one. The feature teases are fun , especially if you get scatters on first two reels, aka a mega tease. the bad: the mystery symbols land so often in such a way to miss a win by not matching up with other symbols, and that is so frustrating and combine that with the feature frequency being over 800 spins so far on average is insane. The first feature took me 2102 spins to get (by the time I had done 2102 spins on Shadow Pirates I already had 14 features just for comparison, great game by the way that Shadow Pirates), something I have never experienced on any other slot including all the megaways. It could have to do with it that I was playing the 94.26% RTP version which if you compare it to the 96.28% RTP demo version there are feature frequency differences. If you think getting 3 scatters is tough then 4 scatters or 5 scatters is even tougher. Now because getting the features is so tough and the base game so brutal, many players will be forced into doing those hot spins or bonus buys and I have tested the bonus buys and hotspins in demo about a 100 times on various 3 scatter/4 scatter/5 scatters and 3 scatters often beat 4 scatters. Hotspins make a huge difference if you play with it on you will get multiple features during a 100 spins easily even though it costs 3x normal bet. In fact if it wasn't these slots having those options of hotpsins and bonus buys we would then be getting a better feature frequency doing base spins like slots in the past. But the way the slot industry has gone is to force players into paying more just to experience a feature. One other thing about the features they can pay 0x or under 1x, this is extreme volatility. During bonus buy testing I did see a 0.4x and during real play I had a 0.7x and one other member had a 0x. Can you imagine doing 500 spins or more and then getting a 0x or 0.4x or 0.7x. Oh and one last thing the losses disguised as wins (LDW's).. 1 cent wins on 10 cent bets... marius1978 1 Quote
Blackjax Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Review: A nice arctic themed slots from Justslots and a pocket friendly minimum bet of 10 cents. The game is 5 reel, 4 row game but with only 20 paylines. The game has a random feature where you can land mystery symbols which can also turn in to wilds and coins. The best part these symbols can have a multiplier starting from 2 and a max multiplier of 100x. The bonus feature is based around the mystery symbols feature and every time it lands it stays sticky until the final spin. I have played this game on 96% version and got some regular base game hits. I triggered bonuses in under 300 spins during my session but sadly didn't get any good hits. The mystery symbols show up on the last reel and then during the last few spins they land on reel one and two giving no chance for connection and your only hope is coin symbols. But that's slot volatility. My biggest turn off about this game is that it has only 20 paylines. The slot should have had atleast 40 paylines keeping in mind that's it's a 5x4 reel game. marius1978 1 Quote
