Acur8
Hi, can anyone tell me if a casino can withhold winnings that were won. The initial funds were deposited using another persons card who gave me their permission. 10 successful deposits and 2 successful withdrawals to the same card. The latest withdrawal was reversed and the account suspended. I have sent them all the documents they require and it seems like they are just ignoring me. The persons card who I used is my flat mate and he self excluded from the casino 5 years ago. They asked for his ID and mine and a picture of me holding my passport,

Why didn't you use and e-wallet instead of that card?
Acur8
I used that card because he was loaning me money on his card. I thought it was ok because it worked many times. The amount I won is over £5k.

I'm actually surprised that casinos even allow people to do this, I don't think it should be allowed. It would just be easier for you to use an e-wallet or voucher, do you not have access to either of these? What are the reasons the casino have given you for suspending the account? The self exclusion?

Acur8
No reasons other than to verify my identity due to regulations. I told them it wasn't my card and we sent a signed letter and both sets of identification and bank statements. They said the account would be reopened today - and it isn't. If I don't get anywhere by the end of the week I will name and shame accordingly.

It all depends on what the casino terms and conditions stipulated when it comes to making deposits with a credit/debit card which was not registered under your name. Some online casinos have that rule and forbid such deposits and of the casino you are having troubles with is one of them, I think you could kiss your withdrawal for a goodbye and hope they will refund your latest deposits made with that card. Acur8
The account was verified this evening. I had to keep phoning to check the progress and email additional documents but in the end the account was re-opened. Full balance is available to withdraw and the card in question is still active. cocopop3011, ValDes and hajnrih

PLZ4THEKIDS
Hi all I'm new to this forum I've posted a problem again with Skybet like the original poster Briefly I joined 3 weeks ago deposited around 3k Over a few days I won and withdrew 6.5k no problems I deposited all this back over a period of about 2 weeks ( i know very stupid!) and got my balance up to a whopping £60k! Withdrew the lot, next day account was suspended, contacted sky bet , extremely poor customer services no one seems to have any authority either Eventually sent in pic of me holding my driving licence, letter from HMRC dated recent showing name/address etc, copy of debit card, copy of a CRB/DBS issued very recently Now after nearly 3 weeks no closer to being resolved , they now want 3 months worth of bank statements even though I've been playing for 3 weeks and 3 months from my partner who I told them in general conversation that she is sometimes with me when I play ! This is ludicrous to say the least By the way all my identification checks out no issues whatsoever and my debit card also matches up They have made me feel like a criminal and to be on a high from winning £60k and telling family etc and making plans to thinking now I'm never going to receive my money is soul destroying Any advice from anyone on this ? Hello and welcome to the forum! This sounds absolutely absurd, I can't see why they want 3 months of bank statements and they have no right to ask for you partners either! It has absolutely no relevance to your withdrawal at all. At a push I would be inclined to send in the statements just for you, covering up any transactions you don't wish them to see, just to get your withdrawal. If you send in the statements for yourself are they saying they will process the withdrawal?

Acur8
Keep emailing them what they want and phoning/online chatting to check the progress. They won't tell you that they need more information unless you contact them. I only had to wait a week to get my account verified and money in my bank account. Best of luck with getting things sorted.
PLZ4THEKIDS
Hi guys thanks for your comments Yes I mean sky casino /Vegas I have offered to send in 3 months statements with everything prior to sky Vegas blanked out but they said no , I'm not sending them my statements for last 3 months when I've only been playing and depositing for 3 weeks it's invasion of privacy in my eyes Definitely not sending partners statements in either If my identification didn't add up then I would understand but as I've said my I.D. Is spot on and also DBS is recent and you have to go through rigorous checks to get one issued They seem to be trying to get out of paying me but for no reason whatsoever It's all my own money I deposited no bonus issues as didn't receive any etc Really stressed out! Post a complaint on the forum see what happens, if it doesn't help complain to their license regulator, if that doesn't help either for 20k you can hire an assassin to collect the debt

However, they have confirmed that the request for your bank statements is an additional verification procedure which they require, I assume this is because the withdrawal is for a large amount. From your response I understand that you asked can you sent the statements with other transactions blanked out, this is exactly what I would have asked too. But since they have said this isn't acceptable they need the full statements in order to proceed with the withdrawal. If this was me I think I would just be inclined to send them what they need. You can certainly rest assured that your personal and financial details are safe with this brand, and if it means you get your 60K, surely it's worth it? Let alone their disagreement of get such statement with all transactions which don't concern them blanked...
