so i have an interesting question. Do you ever check updated bonus terms and conditions for the bonus?

 

 

A few weeks ago i made deposit at Redbet casino and i just click agree button, without reading the rules. But later i changed my mind and read it. I saw that they changed reload bonus rules - you can not play Dead or alive with bonus funds. Because of that i decided to find another casino.

 

I went into Wayne casino, but there i didn't have any message about new/updated rules. But after i saw this new rules at Redbet casino, i just wanted to make sure and read it once again at Wayne casino before i would claim reload bonus. And again. Changed rules!! And yes, again for Dead or alive.. Well that time i really wished to play with bonus founds DoA so i decided to moved into another! Hehe.

 

Next casino where i logged in was Casino luck. Well to be honest i really didn't expect any new rules from them, but i check it anyway. The rules was the same as always so i played there. I came across with welcome bonus rules at Casino luck while i was searching for reload bonus rules. I found that they also updated welcome bonus rules. I remember that when i claimed welcome bonus there i played DoA and some other games. But now this is not technically possible.

 

I think this is really weird, almost every casino make bonus rule for DoA. And even if they don't have it yet, they added it later!! I just can not belive it. One game and so many disagreements for playing it with bonus founds... Well do you ever check updated bonus rules?

Hmm you're right that I usually read the bonus T&C once but I don't check updates very often. And I know that it can come back to bite me on the butt in a number of ways (i.e. exceeding max bet) so thank you for the reminder. Why do you think the casinos are updating their bonus rules to exclude DoA?

i think because of ˝high rollers˝ which take some bonuses and play this game on higher bets. i don't think casino would cancel  Doa if all players betting up to 2€, right? .. or maybe i am wrong..

Well, all this weird situation with Dead Or Alive and casinos updating their bonus terms started about an year- year and a half ago when a lot of operators did either stated DOA as an exclude game while playing with bonus funds or significantly lowered its wagering contribution by 20 to 50%. Now I can see some operators are taking drastic measures when it comes to NetEnt most famous video slot and do all their best to put DOA rest in piece!   It wasn't a big surprise though as there are two major reasons for casinos doing that:

 

1/ Whatever gambling forum you visit there is one game to dominate across their winner screenshot threads. Oh yes, it's called Dead Or Alive, what a surprise ah! And while most of the reputable and honest casino actually like big winners and try to promote them in every possible way, most online casinos are sharing completely the opposite opinion and are constantly trying to reduce big wins as much as they can, especially while and if playing with bonus funds. Sad, but true...

 

2/ The second and probably most valid reason is that a lot of players are simply fed up with NetEnt's new-wave video slots and prefer going back to their well known and still decent paying games such as Dead Or Alive for example. 

 

And there's one more reason of course, its called greed.

I have to admit I am guilty of saying I have read the new terms without actually reading them. However I always get the facts before I play with any bonus. I've made too many mistakes in the past not to learn from them!

Depends on the casino... Some operators will make sure to notify their customers for any important changes/amendments into their T&Cs and request explicit acceptance. Others have a special text within their T&Cs which clearly states that it is player's own responsibility to follow casino terms and any possible updates.

Cause if a casino will update their terms and condition well in my opinion it's the casino's responsibility to "notify" its player by means of any kind of advisory and sometimes you will see it cause it's just a pop up or something that sometimes you ignore. Like when you first sign up to their casino "many" casinos will post it in the end of the signing up process that you agree to their terms and condition and the trick about this is that it's already written to their terms and condition in layman's term it's automatic! If they update their Terms and Condition they will email you or they will create an advisory that will "surely" the players will seriously notified. In the end i assure you that they will convince you that they notify you even though you don't know how.

Unfortunately i do not read the updates of the T&C, thanks about the info on Redbet which i play very often, i have to be more carefull. They could just exclude it from wagering.

Yeah I would think that they should give you some notification, surely they can't just change T&Cs and not let you know about it! They can't expect us to re-read their terms now and then!

Although knowing the nature of most casinos, they would probably do it in some way that it would be diffiuclt for you to notice - like putting it somewhere not too obvious on the website or something like that. I doubt that they would send you a personal email.
