Bonus or not ?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the welcome !! I'm pretty new here and have only been an online gambler for a few months now. And I have made some mistakes and learned quite a bit. Lol.. But it is nice to communicate with other ppl with different levels of experience and to hear their experiences also !

Ahh I see! Well when I first started playing online I took bonus after bonus after bonus it actually took me years till I decided to stop taking them. If playing without a bonus as you mentioned works for you then keep doing it  :p

This is a great place to communicate but also to learn off other members too, we have loads of really experienced players here so if you ever need anything just ask away,

My 2 cents: I stopped taking bonuses. Better deposit enough money from the start. Why?

Reason1: Sometimes I got lucky in the beginning and would liked to have my deposit and maybe a bit more back and use the rest of the money to continue playing. However, with the wagering this normally is not allowed, so by the end of wagering I'm at zero...

Reason2: T&C are annoying! While you play with bonus money you cannot use many games! Not every casino give you an error message (no fund available for this game or similar) and let you play the forbidden slots. And then the bad surprise is coming up because you breached their T&C and your winnings are gone....

Yes, it is tempting to deposit 20€ and play with much more. But it's not worth it.

If I could afford to deposit £50+ every time I doubt I'd ever take another bonus again but my gambling budget is no where near that for each deposit I make.

  • 1 year later...

I had a 50 euro + 100 euro bonus at 10bet Casino. I managed to play 40x, but accepting free spins on the way made the wager about 50x. Between 40 and 50x I lost a hoop of Euros, so my advice is try to get a fair 35x and not accept freespins trying to get a bigger win.

Hi welcome to the forum!

If I ever get a bonus and get credited free spins during bonus play I never use them until after I finished my bonus, unless of course they have a stupid time limit on which means I have to use them and add to the wagering straight away :(

In case of combo deposit bonus, I am with Coco. Always play one bonus at a time, I always see the free spins bonus as my second chance in case I lost the first bonus.

I’d like a bonus that allows me to contribute to wagering whilst playing with real money and there being no tie in to real money. Whilst non stick bonus’s are good, the fact you win in real money and cash out will often see the bonus forfeited.

Unless you had tech issues when depositing and got the bonus given after you withdrew.

Noticed a few casinos for the UK have pulled their offers at the moment.
