Roulette- Zero or no zero?

Recommended Posts

So my question for everyone who plays roulette is- do you play zero or no zero roulette?

What are the advantages/disadvantages? To me it seems like- why would you want to lower your odds by adding another number? Just stick with the original.

Hello Princessamidala and welcome to our forum

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of roulette so I don't the answer to your question. However I'm sure some of our other members will be along shortly to help you.

I don't play roulette also, but a friend of mine plays a lot online. He has some strategy about playing zero and red or black. In his words a zero land a lot more often in online roulette than in regular casinos. I don't remember the entire tactics but I know that what he wins on 0 is pure profit. I can ask him to explain it to me again and tell you if you like.

i played roulette some time ago, i mostly played on black & red. sometimes i put some pennies on zero, but i had no luck. i never got zero, unlucky... so if i play roulette i stick with red and black strategy for some time and later i close the game.

Check the relevant roulette version's RTP first and choose the one with the higher one. Simple as that. :p

Seriously, there are tons of 'proven theories and strategies' online, both referring to zero and no zero version of online roulette game. In my humble opinion, it is your luck which decides at the end of the day and not the game version. Have seen 'profi' players losing tens of thousands on roulette and on the flip side, total newbies winning like crazy although knowing nothing about roulette. :)

Welcome to AskGamblers Forum though.

Thanks for the welcome!

I can understand why there could be no correlation between experience and results with roulette.

And my games have never hit 0 (like maybe once over-all) so I wouldn't agree that 0 hits more online. At least not on the sites I've been using.

Hehe, yeah I could imagine... Especially if you are betting on 0. :D

What sites you are using though?

Hi and welcome Princessamidala, well, you can play roulettes with 0, 00 or no zero and the only difference between them is the advantage of casino, look:

no zero: 0/36 numbers= 0          -> casino edge = 0%

0:           1/37 numbers= 0.027   -> casino edge=  2.7%

00:         2/38 numbers= 0.0526 -> casino edge=  5.26%

So it is not recommendable to play a double zero roulette because casino advantage is bigger.

For its part, no zero roulette doesn't generate profits to casino itself, so the normal is that casino deducts 10% from your winnings on this roulette when you finish playing it. I took this from BetVoyager casino about "equal odds":

Winnings from games with equal odds are subject to a 10% house fee. A commission is not taken if the player loses money. Paying 10% from your winnings is much more profitable than 2.7% on each bet in European Roulette for example.

There is no similar system in the world. It has been developed exclusively by the BetVoyager casino and gives players the unique ability to play in equal odds games, like No Zero Roulette, BlackJack, Slot Machines, Poker and many other equal odds games.

Thank you for this information, Raptordinos. This is the kind of data that I've been looking for.

I much prefer the betvoyager method because the house isn't benefiting from my losses. It's much more fair in a win-win situation than a i-lose, house-wins scenario
